Nick Nurse was on TSN yesterday and the differences between him and Keefe is interesting
Obviously one has a championship and the other doesn’t, but beyond that, Nurse seems a lot more cerebral. He doesn’t get too high or low after singular games, and lets things settle before digging into it. There’s no benefit in yelling at a player 5 minutes after a game ends, they know they didn’t play well. Rather, let them decompress and meet with them the next day.
Keefe meanwhile, at least the last year or so, seems ready with a hot take after every game, as if that’s going to fire up the players when their next game isn’t for another 2 days.
