McLaughlin, Beecher and Lysell are all waiting in the wings. Plenty of offensive talent coming up. Lets see if they can keep the puck out of the net. Swayman did not have a good game at all. Hopefully he doesn't have a regression year. The league has a good book on him now and he'll have to adjust. Signing Ullmark doesn't look like such a bad move now.
whyre people so down on swayman?? Stuzle breakaway in front unguarded, batherson in the slot unguarded, 2 on 1 that stralman played terribly, even a 4th liner for ottawa was unguarded in the slot…… how u gonna blame a goalie for all that?? plus tkachuks goal was real nice snipe anyway. Not much your goalie can do when left out to dry that poorly
When was the last time the Bruins won a game where they played a game the night before? They're not good at that.

It is still a good start to a season. Good luck Bruins decorating the Christmas tree of hockey truth in Boston has to start with the star of goaltending. Swayman will have to be more impressive for the tandem to be intimidating. Depth still seems to be key a healthy Marchand and McAvoy leaves you looking more road prepared for the home opener they really needed. Expectations has to be the playoffs.🪱
Defense was sloppy. They were all over the place. Swayman could have been way better, but I'm not pinning the loss on him alone. They have still scored 5 goals each game and won 75%. Ottawa was hungry, and they ate.
