  1. Although Montreal fans were a bit rude by the end of his tenure, at least the organization respected their playes.

  2. There are alot of issues with his statement lol 1st most players have been in other markets like they have 3 home grown players, 2 that shot about accountability shouldent matter to anymore managment doesnt have alot of contact with players so thats all a couching staff issue . lastly the VGK do have a media issue tho most media can't do there job or else they ether lose access to the team or get rude responses. Look at sinbin they are the perfect example of this media issue

  3. That’s why Montreal will never win another cup, the media and Fans run the team. In Vegas they had a coach who had them giving 100% effort each shift. Now they are gonna be bad due to cap and firing the great coach.

  4. I get where he is coming from, in a way. Hockey I would say, is the biggest sport in Canada. So it makes sense, that they hold their teams accountable. MTL has won, what? 24 Cups? They're use to winning. Like you a said, Vegas has been around 5 years. What expectations do VGK fans actually have for their team? If you say to win a cup. Thats every teams fans expectations for their team. But what else? Vegas fans are just as bad as Leafs fans, when it comes to turning on the team and it's players.

  5. Max– 100 % on! wth happened to VGK after that amazing first year? FIRE! some body rejuvenate the team or they going DOWN— bottom feeders !

  6. Montreal didn't help Pac's career as much as you'd think. He's a .38 gpg and a .38 apg player… a little ways away from a point per game player, I start questioning that 7/per.

  7. It's hard to play in Montréal. I think everybody respects Pacioretty for what he did for the habs. Very good goal scorer and was captain on a team that came short…not his fault but being a star player you gonna have to take some heat: it's just how it is.
We had epic games during his tenure especially against Boston. All good, the guy can be proud of what he did and still doing!

  8. I see where he's coming from.
Vegas doesn't understand the power of respect to the players!
They will fail more and more!

  9. As a Habs fan i dont wanna hear nuthin about cry baby Max who never deserved the C to begin with, thanks for Nick tho, peace! All that being said, he's not wrong about Vegas tho 😬

  10. As a Sabres fan, I LOVE that Vegas is plummeting with Eichel. It may be petty, but it’s a favor for the city of Buffalo😎

  11. Well it wasn't that long ago Max was talking about how players have a "shelf life" in Montréal which was interpreted as criticism more than praise. He seemed to be happy with the lack of pressure in the early days. Hopefully the growing young core in Montréal hears this and remembers in the hard times that the pressure can make you a better player if you don't crack.

  12. The Snowboys are going to dominate the Nhl if they play sports

  13. Remember, Pacioretty always had motivation problems in Montreal too. I think that's more of a him problem than necessarily having lack of oversight.

  14. At this point I hope all the former GK players speak openly of the culture of that organization. That will be the only way things will get fixed

  15. I gotta say considering the score, that the goalie just came off the bench, and the amount of time left in the game, Crazy Jane’s goal celebrations are really unsportsmanlike.

  16. Patches in MTL – "There's too much pressure" Patches in Vegas – "There's not enough pressure"

  17. Strictly a management style: grow assets or hire assets? Clearly Vegas has a high turnover short term vision. Chemistry is as important as skill in the NHL; something management often overlooks. Vegas will be a journeyman and cap relief team much like Arizona

  18. Hmm…..I guess Patches turned out to be a hell of a captain after all! A lot of us were wrong about him. He's kept his play up to standard into his 30's and cares about pushing and leading his team.
