Holtz looks pretty bad these first few games. Not surprised. Haven’t seen him even shooting the puck at all.
IMO Bahl should be in for smith and give Zetterlund another go?
The way they’re utilizing Holtz so far is definitely how you should develop young players and surely won’t cause problems!
These lineup decisions are definitely a choice.
Not really surprising considering how the game on Tuesday went. 3 lines, McLeod taking face offs, Bastian on PK. Also a good spot for Bahl to get out there and play and if he struggles he can sit without being short on D

I understand only wanting to run the top 3 lines but it’s strange to run 7d and not at least have Zetterlund or Boqvist in the lineup just in case one of the top 9 go down. Would much rather have one of them than Bastian or McCleod playing.
It’s also really difficult to get in a rhythm with 7 d.
