The supporting pieces are doing their part. Lazar is showing up, Burroughs is showing up, Aman and Joshua tonight. There’s something rotten with the « core » players

  2. Dinch017

This team just adds to my already depressed ass

  3. standardguy695

The only reason I hang onto this team year after year is because my dad has been a life long leafs fan since ‘65. If he can do it for almost 60 years, year after year, then I have no excuse.

It’s bad, it’s very bad, but some how some way it will get better.

  4. Miller and Myers (33% retained) could get us someone and a draft pick, right?

  5. readytogetstarted

i mean u have mikheyev and kuzmenko and other fast players who are actually suited to overtime and you just sit them there on the bench. makes no sense at all.

  6. OverLordJezus

Is this what happens when we don’t get stellar goaltending?

  7. The_Kandarian

You guys act like 77-3-2 isn’t good enough

  8. DishwasherFromSurrey

Dave from Ladysmith was right. He was just off by a year.

All joking aside, I wanted to say again how thankful I am to have this subreddit to come to. A couple weeks ago I had a panic attack so bad I almost ended up in the hospital, and ever since my anxiety and depression have been skyrocketed. I just started on anxiety medication yesterday and even though we lost again, all I can say is you guys have been the absolute bright spot of my day. Thank you for making me laugh uncontrollably when my anxiety is at its worst. Even if the boys disappoint you guys never will.

Worst thing about this fucking team is we aren’t even bad enough to get bedard (Or someone like him). We are gonna pick it up just like last season and make a good effort but miss the playoffs AGAIN and get a mediocre pick. FUCK THIS TEAM anyone that goes to the home opener please boo these fuckers

  11. Adventurous-Cat4653

I’m back for the memes, where they at ?

  12. ForethaBirdies

Every single team in the league will have 3 losses and 2 ot losses by the end of the season. While I agree the team is playing like shit. There is still time to recover. We played 4 of these 5 teams in their home opener. That needs to be factored in.

  13. WingdingsLover

Would you say it’s time for our viewers to crack each other’s heads open and feast on the goo inside?

  14. hangoverpho

    This Saturday will be interesting

  15. Celtics2k19

Core needs a shake up. Same shit every year, this group won’t get anywhere. We need to make a big move. Horvat trade perhaps?

  16. TheBrandroid

just realized we ain’t got a timsafk post yet :/

  17. Stelar101

The good news is we have 20 GM/AGMs to help fix our problems.

  18. Historical-Driver-45

Hey guys! Just a friendly reminder that reverse retros are currently available for preorder! 🙂

  19. SkidmarkDave

Well since we started 0-3 we’ve managed to earn 50% of available points. That’s .500 winning pct baby- not bad!!

  20. RandoCaljizzian69

If this keeps up, Petey signs a one year deal then walks – and I wouldn’t blame him.

  21. SkidmarkDave

And credit to the boys for stealing a point against a hungry Minny team at home.

  22. OutlawCountryFan

Yet another loss, oh they got one point? Doesn’t matter, still lost, this is getting ugly

  23. PatchesTheGreat1

My favourite sports team: Vancouver Canucks

My favourite sports figure: Charles Leclerc

2022 has unlocked a new form of masochism for me

  24. grooverocker

I can’t believe everyone is complaining, Canucks literally doubled their points tonight. Historic

  25. Admirable-Sound5198

Demko has been really below league average to start the season – check any advanced stats site. Odds are he turns it around… that’s gotta fill you with some optimism. Every loss has basically been by one goal… and demko has been allowing 1 or 2 more goals than expected every game so far… if you guys can accept that demko’s a big part of the slow start, you’ll actually take some comfort because he’s proven to be pretty solid overall in his career

  26. moisterthencloyster

Well atleast it was a ~~fun~~ quick season

  27. Admirable-Sound5198

According to moneypuck, demko has been the worst goalie in the league to start the season… that’s got to fill you with some optimism, right? He’s definitely a top 10 starter… if he even gets back to league average, the Canucks aren’t nearly this bad

  28. TotesMagotes29

Damn the hate on Miller is incredible. No shit he’s going through a rough few games. Dude had 99 points last year and was arguably our best player. He will get better. The entire team is playing like crap. The blame can go many ways. Do most fans in here even want the team to get over this winless streak?

  29. unclebooty

We are officially the only team without a win LOL

  30. Well the Canucks are consistently consistent

  31. forsberg2110

Miller has one good season in his entire career and Canucks give him a 7 year 56M contract. The guy averaged 52 points a season prior. Do the Canucks always need a shitty contract to live, before it was Eriksson now its Miller.

  32. shadownet97

I don’t know if i even want to go to the home opener anymore. The excitement I had before is gone now.
