I dont like any jersey with too much crazy graphics and irregular lines/stripes. Just looks temporary and cheap. That orange jersey just looks like a RHI (Roller Hockey International) team jersey.
No team that wins a Stanley Cup should ever be allowed to change their uniform from those they won in. I'm a Calgary Flames fan and I've hated every uniform they've ever had since they began changing after they won their one cup, and the current ones are ugly as hell. The Islanders should have never changed. The one exception I'd make to this rule is the Anaheim Ducks because their uniforms (which are the ones they won their cup in) are about the ugliest in the league, look cheap and unprofessional and unworthy of an NHL team. I'm surprised they sell any souvenirs at all, even to their fans.
those crooks in brooklyn don;t want to invest in reconstructing the building in te next few years to get rid of obstructed views?.. than fuck them why would we have to change the colors than? who does black and white appeal to? the black ppl? those ppl who don;t even like hockey or watch it? we have to relate to those ppl now?. fuck them …. fix the arena first than we'll talk about adding a patch
The fisherman jersey was a terrible idea. Who changes a jersey when you decide you're going to do a complete rebuild? You know you're going to be terrible for the next few years, fans are going to associate losing/bad teams with that jersey.
I have Ziggy palffy #68 original islanders jersey he wore. He gave it to my mom and i wore its twice to school. Now we put it up and preserve it. It still has pucks marks lol…… i wonder how much its worth

I want the Devils to wear our 80's jersey much more often. I respect the Isladers tradition and honestly I hate the Isles much more than the Ranges at times…although no Tri State are players i history I hate more than Lundqvist and Avery, altough homophobe piece of shit Trotteir is up there. However I love certain Isles and NYR players of the past: Beezer, Melanson, Pearson, Patrick, Jonson, Langevin, Goring, Larouche, Barry Beck, Hrudey, LaFotaine, Ridley, Hanlon and Fichaud, Salo. Overall though Isles fans are assoles just like NYR fans As a Devils fan I LOVE our 3 Cup teams but love the 85-92 just as much as well as 2001 and 2012, It is ot all aout winning Cup I love elements of ou 82-84 teams but at the same time had SIGRACES to the game on those teams like Phil Russell and Rob Palmer, trash goons.The BEST NYR jerseys were late 70's with the logo on the front and the Statue of Liberty although Lady Liberty is on THE NEW JERSEY SIDE as a famous Devils shirt illustrates. HOnestly the FIserman jersey is so hated because it reminds isles fans of te horrible deals Milbury made. I know this for sure, there is NO crest more ugly anddespised by the worst francise and fans in hockey: The Flyers
As an Islander fan born in 2002, I never saw the fisherman jersey in a game. But that was the worst attempt to rebrand a team in NHL history. That jersey represented futility and mockery like nothing else in Islander history. If they even think about bringing it back for use in a game I swear to g-d I’m gonna be pissed off like I’ve never been in my life.
