J.T later added: « I’m gonna turnover the puck and you’re gonna like it »

I will have what he’s smoking. Secondly this is the exact problem with Vancouver. A lack of accountability. If he was a true leader he would be one of the first people saying my play both with the puck and away from the puck isn’t acceptable and that I will do better. Instead he’s doing the exact opposite. The lack of accountability on this team and in particular from the top players on this team is shocking.

Yeah keep playing the way you’re playing! The season is young! You’ll turn things around, and battle hard and we’ll miss the playoffs but if we just add a few pieces we’re right there! There’s always next year and you can do it all again, but this time at an even higher cap hit! I love this team!

Bro really got his money and said « fuck it »

As someone who’s met Miller and has had his back through everything in the past seasons this is an incredibly disappointing thing to read. Really makes me depressed.

« I’m not doing great at work and my boss is disappointed. But I’ll keep doing the same thing and everything will turn around! »

I think he needs to be scratched to light a fire under his ass

  14. Dude have you even watched the tapes of your play away from the puck and in your own end? The self denial is real

  15. deeho88

Well he’s future is secure no matter if he gets traded. He’s getting paid. Bro just got his payday and bounced mentally

Edit: fuck me if I got it right

  16. sasksasquatch

Is he playing in an alternate dimension? There is no drug on Earth good enough to give the perception.

When I read that quote from IMac about the Players only meeting and during that meeting the veteran players were imploring the other players to “play smarter and harder defensively” I openly wondered if Miller was telling the other players to play smarter and harder defensively. Truly he had to own up to his own play I thought. I guess not.

Personally I think it’s just the adjustment period for JT. He was already a player that played on the edge and now that he became a premier player lots of teams are paying more attention to him. That doesn’t excuse his giveaways or defensive gaffs but I’m sure he has another level to give. And Bruce out of anyone can help a player play out of their funk. Petey took half the season to get out of it, so if a more experienced player like miller can take half the time or even a quarter that’s a good thing.

Article said Miller is still looking for his first goal of the season, didn’t he score in the first game against the oilers?

  20. ConfusedMoose

    >At the centre of both units is Miller. His struggles have been obvious there. They’ve also been obvious at even strength. He’s yet to score his first goal of the season, with four assists and a minus-three rating in five games.

That’s not true, are they talking about Boeser here? lol

  21. “My game, where I’ve really tried to work on, is five-on-five in my own end and worrying about that first. Offence later. And if I look at the way I’ve been playing there, I feel really good about what I’ve done so far,” Miller said.

    😳

If he’s going to be paid to stand and watch and think it’s ok, he can go eat mini donuts with the Jon’s

*sticks fingers in ears* « La la la la I can’t hear you »

  24. It’s weird because he took accountability and said that he wasn’t playing well a few games ago.

  25. Scaught420

You guys are just watching hockey wrong – JT

  26. Sinochick

Part of me had felt a tiny bit sorry for him and I wondered what the reception will be for him in the home opener when they do the lineup announcements. Now I feel zero sympathy for him…..

  27. CheesecakeMurky7800

Miller’s play is setting an example for our younger players

  28. eexxiitt

Oh baby what a juicy quote. Alvin hitched his wagon to a guy who lacks self awareness and self reflection (aka responsibility and accountability).

  29. HarveySpecter1970

    Did Miller bump his head?
