You are both right and you are wrong. Yes, it is just 1 game, but it is also a loss of your confidence that your goaltender was a wall that couldn't be breached. I have heard nothing but "Oh, Vasilesvski can single handedly stop the Avalanche from scoring." since the Avalanche finished off the Oilers. Well guess what Tampa fans: He can't. Now I'm not saying that Colorado is going to win (I think they will, but it isn't over until it's over), but it certainly isn't "All Tampa has to do is show up and their goaltending will win the series for them" like everyone has been saying.
And I think this loss will do more that just put Colorado one game closer to the Cup, I think it also will put that fear into the Lightning that maybe, just maybe, Vasilesvski isn't going to make up for all of the defensive mistakes that they are making.

I know there has been a lot of talk about who the best player in the NHL is currently, with the slow decline of Sid, and the rise of McDavid, Draisaitl and Mathews, but MacKinnon and Makar both need to be included in that conversation a lot more after this series is over, those two are just so damn fun to watch, it’s almost every game they’re bringing a new skill out of their trick bag, they’re just insane.
