   I’m stoked that Eric Comrie is getting his break this season!

   I coached him at a summer hockey camp when he was like 13 and I was at university (at that time his dad wore a Sens track suit jacket for his other son, Mike Comrie).

   A few years later I saw Eric again while volunteering with the fitness testing at training camp for the Tri City Americans (WHL). Carey Price had just made the jump to the NHL and his dad, Jerry Price, was still heavily involved with the Ams as a goaltending consultant, they were solid in drafting and developing goalies at that time and Eric’s poise in net looks very reminiscent of a young Carey! But no one will ever replace Price
