  1. I think Clarke will be back in the OHL for one more year. Where would he play if he did make the big club with Doughty, Roy, Walker, Durzi & Spence all on the right side.

  2. That Stefan goal was a great individual effort. Jamsen and Byfield had a really good game.

Kings system last season played the 1-3-1 a lot defending through the neutral zone. In the 3 rookie games they played more of a 2-1-2 defending through the neutral zone.

Was kind of wondering if anyone else noticed?

  3. Jamsen is a very smart player he seemed to be where the puck was going every shift all weekend not overly physical but used his body in good ways good skill and like i said always where the puck was but not out of position Jamsen impressed me the most with his intelligence

Others who impressed me Andre Lee big kid, skates well, and decent hands
Helenius was solid everywhere on the ice,Nousianen good skater good instincts i also thought a couple of the invites were solid i thought Kozier and Lajoie were solid defensively and Alaire was good in all 3 zones good weekend great games and just great to get back going

  4. The most NHL ready players over the weekend were Clarke, Chromiak and Helenius , Helenius is ahead of QB…

  5. Kings did not give up a goal on PK, Pinelli but especially Helenius were the controlling factors, on that little tidbit, come February or march Helenius is going to be a big part of Kings PK

  6. If you got Byfield as top 2 STar you didn't see games 5 times like me. Anyways Kings PP solid F especially when played 4 Forwards or 2 RHD or LHD. Spence I give Solid F guy has no velocity or ability in his own zone giving up least 1 goal. He is 5'6 easily gets blocked at line can't even score on 5 Minute Major. How anybody thinks he is good just shows they can't see his awful skating. I put more velocity on shots using a Goalie Stick even scoring often in Street Hockey. HE can't score on Beer League Goalies. Chromiak A+ in Knights game. Ward, Pinelli, Helenius B+ especially on the PK using his size. Booth I give a B who had to cover for awful Spence entire game. Clarke B- mostly for Vegas game. Kaleb C+ Overall. Inomoto or so C+ reminds me of Alec Martinez blocking all those shots I think he got injured. Cozier I'd give C- along with Byfield. Rest of team were about Cs or so. Stefan was best player in Sharks game getting that goal. I'm glad didn't see the Byfield Bobble entire Sharks game compared to Avalanche.

I'd say all the LHD were better than Mediocre Mikey or Toby Boi so I hope they trade them or keep in AHL. QB just so bad its nice to see him finally keeping it simple missing wide open guy on pass that led to goal. Then getting another assist on ENG. Usually he will try to Stick Handle or control Puck which leads to his bobbles. This time he moved the puck instead of trying to handle it so it helped him avoid. I"d say it was best game as 1st was an utter disaster. Kings nearly gave up SHG on every single PP. Spence had pass by Chromiak he missed that is from lack of size combined with awful skating. Takes him 3 strides to Equal 1 Man Stride. Clarke is going to replace Durzi in 3 years unless trade Drew Doughty. So probably Helga Grans with Drew Doughty and Clarke. QB can't score should send him to ECHL make him use max length stick. He was not as bad on PK compared to Avalanche when was chasing plays creating chances for them. The Real 3 Stars would be Ward, Helenius Pinelli if anything. None of these teams are any good with Sharks having no prospects while Avalanche drafting 25th or later since Makar with Knights only developing like 3 players ever. I did not like Byfield on the point on the PP or other times on PP he got taken over. Thomas too small was waste on PP could not even screen the goalie. That Laraqoe or so guy I thought was a forward at first. Helenius was Great on PK making many plays using his size unlike Byfield or others. He managed to get goal from Rossby or what name along with Lawrence heh. They moved him all over would rather have him on team over QB playing PK or 3rd/4th line. Ward I think is best chance to make NHL roster from those.

Anybody who thinks Spence is good or not a liability must be used to crappy AHL or ECHL games. Guy had no ability to put velocity on his shots. He can't play the point or take simple passes or score on a 5 minute major? Jamsen looked like HOFer compared to him hehe. I'd say Spence was by far the worst Defenseman including the unsigned guys. I seen first two games least 5 times even rewatched Kings opening game vs. Knights when Kopitar set record. INgram I wish they left in for entire game but didn't matter. That SAapry D-man I thought was a bit shaky. I"m thinking 43 got injured as didn't notice him return to San Jose game. Clarke got shaken up so don't think he was same in Sharks game. He will have to add some size its really cool able to see them live. I'm thinking Blake Best Draft will be 2021 seeing all the players overall. Kaleb was on for a bad giveaway but he had his moments making hits or throwing elbow. Booth played really solid I didn't even realize who he was originally hehe. Its hard to see the guys in the 70s but even Kim I think is better than Spence listed at 5'9. That 3rd game Byfield played compared to Colorado was like Night and Day. I can't wait for Byfield Bobblehead Night :). I don't like who they had on the 5 Minute PP as Kings should have had Kaleb or younger guys over the established guys like Thomas or Spence. This is supposed to develop Rookies so Ward, Pinelli, Helenius, Booth, Lawrence, guys like that should have gotten it over trying to win with AHL or ECHL guys.

  7. IMHO, Clarke and Helenius were clearly better, pretty much every time on the ice, than any of the other Kings. I like most of what I saw from Chromiak, but I'd love to see a little bit more from him when he doesn't have the puck. Byfield still needs to play a lot heavier, both physically and on his stick. Stefan's goal today was a thing of true beauty.
