Maybe miller is stressed about being away from his new baby? I Know I didn't feel right about myself when I went away from my son at 6 months old for a weekend trip to vancouver for my brothers wedding. It was our first time away from him and even though we knew he was in good hands (with my wonderful aunt) It was still nervewracking.
I know you should try not to let your personal life impact your work regardless of what job you have but as someone who has had it happen before in his work its easy to have happen.
Why are you making videos about the bad teams.
When you go into a season with a defense that your President (who's known for wheeling and dealing) refers to as "certainly adequate" you have to know the season is a write-off. By not doing anything to upgrade the D corps, Allvin and JR pretty much just slammed the window shut on any Cup hopes for the next few years.
Aren't they giving up too many odd man rushes? While D is not their strength, any team with Demko and 3 more than just respectable scoring lines is playoff possible in the Pacific. If they fix the bad pinching on the blueline, they'll be back to being a competitive team fast, that's not a heavy duty ask from their coaches.
Biggest problem with the Canucks is the fan base. We haven’t had a home stretch yet and had one of the hardest road trips. I think the fans think way to hard. I am waiting to see this home stand of games and then see how things go. Relax!!!!!!

It's hard to win games when your #1 goaltender has a save% of 0,861, Demko needs to start playing like a real #1 goalie for the Canucks to have any chances.

As a Canucks fan it's been painful to watch this franchise since we lost in game seven of the 2011 Stanley Cup finals.
A little bad luck and a little bad defensive plays and they are 0-5. Historically they never do well in 5+ game eastern road trips. Media panics too early . They are not contenders but they should not be bottom feeders . Work on that pk please . Actually special teams in general, if they were better they would have been 3-2
They say the team you have can be judged pretty well at the 20 game point. If the 'Nucks need 100 points for the playoffs, that means 25 points. They need 11 wins and 1 otl in the next 15 to keep pace. 3 regulation losses in the next 15? pffft. I'm already not liking their chances.
Wow, whatever happened to the good ol days where you made the playoffs with an under 500 team?
The Canucks remind me of those Oilers back in the 2000's where the media claimed they were unstoppable with all the offensive talent up front(Hemsky, Smyth, etc.), and on paper they said all four lines could score and will dominate the league but ended up choking.
It's not just Miller. You have a weird situation where Miller, Demko, Boeser and Hughes are playing horrendous but the depth brought in has actually been really good. Lazar, Joshua, etc had little expectations and have been just fine. Pettersson and Horvat have been fine but you cant have so many top guys playing so bad and expect to win games.
The window to rebuild closed when JB traded for OEL last last summer. At this point you're stuck with what you got for the next several years or liquidation sale on young talent…
