I´ve seen the play of the Pros evolve over the generations, and over the years. Every hockey player and coach (and all the other people involved in the development of the game) deserves our respect and admiration for the evolution of our game.
Caps had terrible defensive breakdowns and stopped playing when they had the 4-2 lead. Gave Nashville a PP to get back in the game. Caps need to learn how to keep a lead and clear the zone better. (Coming from a Caps fan)
Well fellow Caps fans, is it time to let the kid play and sit Holtby for a few? Neither goalie had a spectacular game but Holtby couldn't stop anything. The last goal he allowed was just a joke and everything I dislike about floppy , I mean butterfly goal tending. Samsonov has got to get the next start . It's early but the Caps have got to win these types of games. Fun game though , both teams kept coming.
Ha, I see a good bit of, great game comments. I would say exciting but there is not much great about both teams giving up so many two on one opportunities. Hey, it's early season but I doubt the coaches thought it was a stellar game either way…tho Preds ecked out the win.
