Good! I'm glad he's gone!! He was dirty and they made special rules for him. Good riddance!!
To see how he started, and where he ended up is just great. When he came to OTT as a throw in on a trade he was just barely NHL caliber. He grew into a monster of a player then OTT had that Chara Redden choice to make. Sucked for us, but what he became in BOS was awesome. Enjoy your well deserved retirement Big Z, its the ribs!

Zdeno Chara definitely had two hands and a big body in helping the Boston Bruins to becoming the toughest team to play against in the NHL, and along with this, came a Stanley Cup. And thank you for your support and time for helping those in need. And I hope that your retirement is filled with many good memories and moments,with your family and friends.Thank you for all the goodness that you have brought to hockey.
