Everything yet nothing at all is happening all at once.
The best part is that they’ve lost AGAIN since this clip was recorded.
The plan is a 1st overall pick of a generational player who slept in Canucks pyjamas growing up. This is how dynasties begin.
It's now 15-2
San Jose is gonna be terrible this season… the Canucks, "hold our beers."
May we have a moment for silence for the Vancouver Canucks? I can't blame Bruce B. for this "mess". Imo, Jimmy will be forced to make a player change/trade soon. Question is Who is take him up on his offer? Nearly every other gm is going to try to "fleece" the Canucks or nearly everyone is up against the cap wall. Take care everyone.
Vancouver is being shown up as a pretender rather than contender. The team just isn't good enough or they're underperforming for whatever reason or there is a serious locker room problem.
Reminds one of the Leafs a decade ago
I Rutherford saying that rebuilds take a long time. While that can be true, if you do it smart it doesn't have to be, the Rangers did theirs in about 4 years so it's doable of course the counterpoint to that would be the Sabers who were in a rebuild for like a decade so there is that. The other thing though is that if the Canucks had started their rebuild a few seasons ago, they might have been done with it by now, or at least halfway through one. Instead they suck and will suck for longer before they eventually do decide a rebuild is necessary which will make it take longer. Also your fanbase would be much more forgiving if you came out and said "Hey this isn't working, we're going into a rebuild." Again, literally what the Rangers did, at least then when the team is bad it's because "Well they're rebuilding, it's to be expected." At the very least you probably wouldn't be booed out of your own building and have jerseys thrown on the ice.
