Just so classic habs to only muster 1 lucky goal against a team that has been bleeding goals against all year

Just a terrible night for everyone

  2. heavie1

Harris with 25 minutes tonight is nice

  3. DrippingHeart

    Suzuki had a bad game.

    Hoffman had a good game.

    Weird timeline.

  4. ghostfan9

Suzuki had at least 10 passes intercepted and didn’t adjust. Frustrating. Not sure why this sub is all after Hoffman, he wasn’t half bad tonight. Savard played amazing, all other D were bad. Wideman especially.

  5. habsfreak

I dislike Hoffman as much as anyone but anyone blaming him for the last goal is being silly…that was obviously on Suzuki

Anyways pretty boring game all around

  6. patpitpout

Burrows can leave now. This PP suck hard.
    Wideman and Dadonov out please.

  7. ThatsExactlyIt

Didn’t get to watch it but I’m happy to see Caufield got another one! 🙂

  8. SAM041287

We MUST find a solution for the PP!

  9. lostdime

Best next thing to losing in a tank year, is watching Florida shit the bed too

  10. Fleury is the weakest (statistically) goalie in the NHL right now. Naturally we are unable to get more than a goal past him. Ugh.

  11. Baikken

Good game by Hoffman, Savard, Allen and CC. Rest looked hungover.

  12. W4ingro1995

Ahh classic. Allen has a great game and the rest of the team shits the bed

  13. Beefiest_bison

We are always around to give a confidence boost to a struggling goalie. You could see Fleury’s confidence coming back throughout the game as we pelted shots into his chest.

  14. stugots__

Probably their worst performance of the year. Oh well, vive le tanque

  15. Habsfan_1984

Not going to lie based on our recent record against Minnesota and Fleury seeming to elevate his game against us I wasn’t expecting a win. Caufield goal makes it easier to swallow. On to the next one boys.

    *BAD*

    – A night where the rookie defensemen looked like rookies. It happens. X in particular had a very very tough night.

    – Not a strong night for Suzuki. They played him physical and it worked.

    – The powerplay is toothless. It’s a problem. It doesn’t need to be great, it just has to be okay but it’s a dumpster fire.

    – I found the wild team to be a bit annoying. Lots of clutching and grabbing.

    – Dadonov not sure what the point is and whenever management is ready to call this experiment an end I’m good with that lol. Harsh, maybe he can turn it around.

    – Gallagher fighting the puck all night.

    – Don’t think the wild are remotely a good team and Habs were beat. They have Kaprizov and that’s about it.

    – Evans & Dvorak don’t need to be Wayne Gretzky but I am left wanting some semblance of offense.

    *GOOD*

    – GOAL Caufield.

    – Savard was good again. Man is a magnet for shot blocking and compliments guhle very well.

    – Allen is a beast.

    – Anderson looked quite alive. Needs to bring that every single game and not take games off. Consistently good rather than occasionally great.

    – Liked Drouin.

    – In a weird sense I did like Hoffman. Penalty shot was a bit frustrating though, bit of a weird attempt.

  17. NorthernPaladin89

Caufield scored and we lost. My boy gets his spotlight, but we still get Bedard. All according to plan.

  18. sean_psc

The power play is terrible, but our penalty kill continues to be surprisingly good.

  19. jo_maka

That was *almost* a cool loss.

The youngsters are learning the hard way. But it’s gonna help long term.

  20. « Good game, but again no result » – Antichambre

Bro what game did you watch? That was horrible, our worst game of the year by far, even worse than Washington.

  21. Denster1

    my only expectations this season:

burrows needs to get fired. and soon.

pezzetta is better than at least 1 player on the ice, put him in the lineup. He;s physical and works hard. That can’t be said about nearly every other player out there

  22. BuyHexoShares

No one talks about Dvorak… dudes invisible and has 0 points at this moment 🧑🏼‍🦯🤔

  23. Habs_Apostle

We lost. I expect many more. This is the way of things for the foreseeable future.

Nice seeing CC scoring, also with some nice defensive plays. Allen with some big stops. Savard looked amazing. And Anderson had some jump tonight.

A mediocre PP and a couple of these games could be flipped for us. Crazy how it’s so bad.

    Go Habs Go!!!

  24. IcyChard4

What hurt the habs tonight was the defense. Anyway, lots of scoring chances vs the Wild. The team couldn’t break Fleury and co. Hopefully, they survive Thursday vs. Buffalo and Saturday vs. St. Louis.

  25. SatireSqurriel

powerplay continues to be ridiculously bad

  26. defector-antal

Scratch Wideman and bring Barron back.

  27. MontrealMUFC689908

Alex Burrows should either get sacked or demoted to Laval tomorrow morning. I can’t stand any more of this shit on the PP.

Just get Guy Boucher on board already. We need at least a veteran in that coaching staff because that kind of laisser-faire is not acceptable in this league.

  28. JacquesEvans

Pretty depressing game all around. But!! Savard is not Alzner 2.0, he’s pretty impressive for what he is. HE should be the “gars de chez nous” representative lol
