Let me know your thoughts on this trade
Not much of anything to help the habs. More of just giving the guys fresh starts.
Both players needed a change of scenery. Hillis dropped in the HABS prospect pool of players and he probably wasn’t going to get to the NHL with is organization. The same situation seems to be with Beaudoin in Chicago. HABS could use another D-man that can move the puck up the ice but being a lefty D-man, it’ll be tough for him to crack the big club. Either way, this seems like a trade that May just benefit players more than the organizations.
Do not understand the trade at all.

Habs must be going full rookie defense excepting Matheson …They need to pick up decent replacements in the system to play in Laval ….
