Worst performance of the year. Let's bounce back at home. What matters to me isn't a stat that is tracked: How often we throw away the puck through poor passing.
Awful performance, nobody showed up to play. We should all start to be concerned about Tage and Skinner. This is why I wanted Tage to sign for Tuch type money. This was a Krueger type loss.
We've seem them play great, but that was terrible. As the players say, the big thing is how they respond.
3-1 thru this west coast swing isn't disappointing, but they way they finished it was. Rebounder against the Habs Thursday night. Let's go Buffalo
Some of the heroes from last season have been pretty quiet this season – Skinner and Okposo look like they are trying but can't put it together, last season Olofsson when he hurt his wrist and lost his shot worked on his passing and even played a little defense now it looks like he back to just looking for his shot, Quinn is starting to remind me of Olofsson one dimensional offensive specialist – I'd like the Sabres to sit Quinn and VH and bring back Krebs and bring up Rousek for a couple games.
one clunker in a long season I can forgive. I want to see how they respond. If they are the team I suspect them to be they will be out for blood.
I hear ya Wayne, I don't the chance to see many games because I work second shift (Listen to the radio at work WGr55)) so these late games I get to watch a little when I get home. Needless to say, I didn't get to see much. but as you said it was a positive west road trip other then this game. I do believe they will bounce back.

Great road trip, but ending it on such a hard loss makes me nervous. I don't know what to expect tomorrow night against Montreal now. The effort was just terrible. So many soft passes instead of just getting the puck to the net too.
I think that was the worst game I have ever seen Tage Thompson play, one bad turnover after another, it looked like a giveaway contest out there. The whole team was just not there. Sure bad games happen but this one took it to a whole new level. And Mittelstadt's laziness costing the goal was just painful to watch. That would have brought them within 1 goal and going back on the power play. Oh well let's see how they respond vs Arber Xhekaj and The Habs.
I’ll take 3 of 4 on the west coast trip anytime. Someday we’ll figure out how to beat those guys.
They were off on every aspect of this game!!! the passing i think was the worst, we have seen games like this before.. Not worried. Seattle was sticking them at the line and giving them no room at all… My worry is this team needs to start hitting, and giving the opponent point blank shots on our goalie.
Good road trip let's see how they bounce back after Seattle. Ya I kinda figured they had this one but oh well shit happens. Bummer but nothing to get mad or freaked out the boys obviously didn't want this one maybe between the travel and play they were a little behind on rest? Everyone looked like ass for the most part don't trip it happens. Plenty of hockey left lots to happen
This game looked like "when we had Eichel" kinda loss. Our passing was atrocious. I've seen most of their passes miss way off or be at the back of players feet, and this was when the passes needed to be accurate…like zone or stretch passes.
It was the end of a potentially tiring road trip and Seattle are on form right now having beaten Colorado. I was disappointed with how they hung Comrie out to dry. This is a classic example of how you can't expect your goalie to bale you out every night. There wilbe games like this all season. Let's see how they bounce back. Other teams in the Sabres bracket with expectations are also very streaky. The Habs are fighting and Buffalo need to respond.
Out shot, and out hit every single game is concerning. The PP is concerning. The defense is concerning. Guys not named Dahlin, Tuch, or Peterka, is concerning. The goalies though, have been there. Comrie looks hungry for his opportunity to play, but they've left him out to dry in a couple of games. Anderson is a rock… Huge test against a hungry looking Monreal team coming up!

Mitts should have had better awareness, kinda pulled an Eichel with that offside goal but long road trip after got 6 outta 8 pts so I'll take it. Plus we beat Edmonton and Calgary soundly so a minor bump in the road against Seattle is nothing unless they let it spiral out of control they have been known to do but I have faith in the leadership group to pull these kids back up and get them ready to beat the Habs today. Samuelsson and Jokiharju are sorely missed cause other guys are forced to play more ice time than the can handle, need them back ASAP. Go Sabres!
