At least Seattle had the decency to beat the shit out of us

  2. Icommentoncrap

Frustrating loss here. Had tons of shots, plenty of chances and come up short after playing good hockey. Was shakey at first but it didn’t help our PP wasn’t there and we couldn’t get Comrie out but shouldn’t have been in that situation in the first place

  3. MoneybagsMcghee

Let’s be honest we weren’t going to be a top team this year. The past two games are probably closer to what we are but at least we’re not bottom feeders anymore

  4. Burger-Feast

Sabres looked like they were trying to hold onto a lead over the final 3 minutes…. Wtf was all the dumping the puck in and icing?

  5. time2fly2124

more habs fans than sabres fans? thats a new one. i expect it for laffs, but holy fuck, guess were a travel destination for the habs now.

  6. Barmacist

Sabres definitely not looking as good these past 2 games but tonight they ran into an inexplicably hot goalie. Frustrating…

  7. GuybrushThreepwood94

Extremely frustrating game. It’s nice seeing them put that many shots up, but the D zone is an absolute mess.

  8. stuiephoto

What was happening in the final 5 minutes? No one had any idea what was going on. Passes to nowhere. Why didn’t we use our timeout to get everyone on the same page?

  9. That_One_Shy_Guy

That game was just pitiful. There were bursts where the Sabres look great, but it seems like the minute any team increases pressure on the Sabres and don’t let them just walk in the zone they seem lost.

  10. mooney0404

Lots to tighten up and work on. Gotta be more consistent on the energy for the full 60 minutes. Lots of spurts and then long stretches of nothing. At least it was a fun game to watch

  11. GuitarGuy93

Power looked a little lost out there at times. Mitts needed to bury one of those two breakaway chances.

  12. sarcastic_man_13

Olofsson needs to sit or get traded for literally anything, Krebs needs to not play on the 4th line, and it’d be nice if Quinn could actually play in crunch time.

  13. NoMoreCacao

Frustrating. So many great chances and no points to show for it.

At least they played an exciting and encouraging brand of hockey. Just gotta find the back of the net.

  14. BARDLER

The sloppiness in our own zone killed us and they capitalized more on those mistakes then we could overcome.

Gotta figure out our passing because it’s really really bad.

  15. ShylocksEstrangedDog

Power looked noticeably weak in the defensive zone tonight.

  16. RefereeMason

    Olofsson needs to fucking sit.

  17. thatcarguy420

This team is better than the past 2 games. Idk what the hell is going on but its gotta get fixed. Losing to a trash team at home is bad.

  18. Tiny_Ad_176

    I’m a: Sabres fan

Looking for: $7.1 million dollar center

  19. slightlyuglyboss

There are signs of growth, but still ways to go. This game showed that. Sabres fought hard, but just couldn’t pull it out. Sucks, but happens

  20. Olofssen needs to be traded off this team yesterday.

You put Olofsson with Peterka and Cozens and that line has a 0% xGF. I wonder why. Can we put Krebs back on that line?

  21. King-of-the-idiots69

Sammy pls come back we miss you so bad

  22. LAMProductions99

Whew that was… something. I hope they were just tired from coming back from the road trip or something. Tbh in most of the second and third they dominated the ice. 45 shots on net, that’s nothing to scoff at. Unfortunately, Montembeault Comrie’d us. And with our D section still jumbled up, we had a hard time stopping Montreal’s scoring chances. If it wasn’t for that fluke goal in the first, might’ve been a very different result.

  23. AssinineAssassin

We need a player like Anderson. He can’t be bumped off the puck, he drives the net to force the goalie to act, and really lifts the play of those around him as a result.

  24. jimmy_beans

Could feel that L coming from a mile away. Habs got a ton of puck luck that game.

  25. roozey14

A couple better bounces and it’s a totally different game. I was entertained, good game again from Cozens, it’s fun seeing him improve this year

  26. AudioCats

Man can some of us not be doomers for one second

We got goalie’d and lost on two very flukey goals. Go watch the Leafs if you enjoy being like this, because honestly I think you like complaining about the Sabres more than rooting for them

  27. edit-the-sad-parts

Needed to play better coming off an embarrassing blowout loss against the worst team in the division at home. Growing pains

  28. BfloBill70

Possible jet lag from their trip out west? Hopefully they’ll be firing on all cylinders Saturday vs the Blackhawks

  29. seeldoger47

Frustrating loss. At least Dahlin’s and Cozens’ breakout seasons continue unabated.

  30. roozey14

Like rosen and next year’s first? That’s not a crazy price, especially if we are in the playoff hunt next year which I think everyone anticipates we will be. He is on a cheap contract for multiple more years after this one.

  31. defeatedatlast

Can’t help but feel we were just beaten by a bunch of AHLers. But we are also a good amount of AHLers at the moment

  32. Kinger86

We got goalied. We have the shots on just got to put it all together…. When I’m there please

  33. smallbizowner12345

Well that was a game. Some good parts. Some bad. Skinner scored. Miss Sammy. Dahlin played too much. We will get better.

  34. StartButtonPress

I really didn’t expect us to lose tonight, feels bad. Definitely fully back down to earth.
