What a terrible night for the Leafs! We cane back from a 2 goal deficit and the Sharks ruined it! Karlsson just ruined my night and thanks to the Sharks, I'm not gonna get any shut-eye because of this! Terrible game, terrible ending, bullshit loss!
If I was a leafs fan I would be really upset the first goal Matthews would not play defense and taking all those penalties made it an 0-2 hole.
KAHKONEN might have been screened on the first goal and the 2nd goal the sharks defense was terrible and was just asking to be scored on. The 3rd goal most goalies would give that up so Matthews made up for the goal he gave up. KAHKONEN did not look as bad as his save percentage.
The leafs putting themselves in the 0-2 hole was self inflicted and cost them the win. The leafs just played down to the competition and it showed.
Happy to see the sharks offense come to life though.

Leafs should have made a trade for JT Miller in off season and gotten rid of Muzzins contract! You watch will be attaching another first round pick with Muzzin just to part with his contract. All these years we could have been making this team elite Dubas stood firm in the core, and it shows!!

Again the leafs lost to the sharks after the lost against the golden knights on Monday!! This game was exciting to watch and didn’t except it to go into overtime!! Good passes, blocks, hits, goals and saves from both teams!! Although the leafs lost I am happy that they played well this game then on Monday!! Leafs played like junk again, pathetic when you can't even beat the sharks. Losing these easier games is going to bite them on the behind later on. Only bright spot for them is marner and matthews scored, maybe they'll get going now, guess we'll see.

I just DONT UNDERSTAND, as a PAST player with many NHLer's at a young age, GETTING 'ragged On' for not back checking!!! so i learned… I TOOK a LOOK around and always skated HARD to the FAR POST as a FORWARD, when BACKCHECKING a 'REAL' Play!!! HEAD on a SWIVEL… MATTHEWS made a MINOR NOVICE backcheck to LEAVE the TRAILER! in the PROS that MISTAKE of "assumed confidence" will be punished by all PROS!!!
