    The Canucks need goaltending though no? It's not like their goalies are anything special…why didn't they even try him out?

    Studnicka had plenty of time to develop into a good NHL player, and it just didn't happen. That doesn't mean he can't still do that, and sometimes a change of scenery is the necessary catalyst. I know little to nothing about the players Boston's getting in return.

    We traded a RH D prospect?? For another forward prospect?? I’m so confused why this made sense. Maybe Dipetro but idk about this deal..

    Another supposedly good prospect fails in Boston. Cam Neely is getting very annoyed with how the Bruins fans and their media crush Don Sweeney. but it is very deserving. his failures at the 2015 and 16 drafts, with five first rounders. gave up the store for a totally washed up Rick Nash. trading all those first and second round picks. Hall and Lindholm could be very good trades. Fabian Lysell and Mason Lahori, has the only two real good prospects in the oraginzation, is troublesome. cap management, fell in love with a couple of rentals, like Mike Reilly. that is going to be tough to move, especially with one year left on his deal. The drama with David Pastrnak, is a conversation for another day.

    It’s better than putting him on waivers and losing him for nothing. I’m not thrilled about it, but know nothing of the D prospect. Having him sit every night doesn’t help his trade value. I feel like Boston never gave him a good look, and I’m disappointed, but there’s no room down the middle. Sweeney sucks tho so watch Studs figure it out elsewhere.

    Wait, so you’re trying to say that ONCE AGAIN Teflon Don Sweeney trades a guy with legitimate talent (even though it didn’t work in Boston for whatever reason) FOR NO NAME SCRUBS (which is what they will turn out to be and he’ll draft another scrub with the draft pick)? Well color me shocked…..NOT!! DON SWEENEY IS FAR AND AWAY THE WORST GM IN HOCKEY!! I loved watching him as a player, because being nearly 40 years old I am old enough to have watched him play for much of his career. As good of a player as he was, he is an EQUALLY BAD GM!! I’m not saying Stud was worth a “haul” but THE KID WAS A FIRST RD PICK WHICH MEANS THERE IS A LOT OF TALENT THERE SOMEWHERE, The B’s just couldn’t tap into it for whatever reason. They COULD HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING BETTER, but if they did then IT WOULDN’T BE TEFLON DON ENOUGH!!

    Danton Heinen couldn't crack the line up. He went to Anaheim and got valuable NHL time and experience against NHL players one can't get in AHL. Now he's doing well as a bottom 6 in Pittsburgh. I am thinking it's the same scenario as Stud's so he may develop given consistent time in the NHL.

    Why is Vancouver trading big young right side D and a goalie that was abused by the Canucks farm team. Brutal trade Fire Alvin Jim my god we dont need AHL forwards . Bring back Gillis.
