Game one was fun, but I don’t think that Vasilevskiy is going to continue to jump out of the way multiple times a game so 34/16 can score and feel good about themselves.
Kyle Clifford is a hammer head but I love it. Set the tone for the series especially after the boys killed off the penalty. Made it known early the Leafs are just gonna be pushed around anymore.

Something else to note…Leafs now have 4 good defensemen that weigh over 200lbs. This is a good thing.
This series will get ugly Maroon and Perry will play thug style hockey. This is why Clifford will draw back in for game three. Great game one love that the boys are now standing up for each other. This shows they're figuring out exactly how to win playoff hockey. Not going to get easier keep the pedal to the metal let's banish our round one demon and send the two time champs to the links.
I am glad you backtracked on your trashing of Jack our #1 lol. The same thing happened to Freddie this years Vesina winner who we thought was the problem and let go for nothing. Leaf fans know it was the lack of team toughness and commitment to team defense that was the problem. Tampa's goalie like all others look average if the team runs around in front of him like leafs usually do. Maybe they have finally got the right combination to win. This would have happened sooner if 4 players had not eaten most of the cap. Sadly if they cannot take advantage of this moment there is no way to keep this group together under the cap as some of the guys are due for raises including Jack.
