I'd much rather see a real left winger, I'm ready to move on from Kerfoot. Auston will be fine. I don't think anyone wants Muzzin is part of the problem, I hope Jake can get back to his old form but he's logged some hard miles…his career is coming to that point. Finding a hard left D is a lot easier than a right one…when do we see the end of Holl ffs haha
Matthew's is not the issue….marner needs to go man ..not cause hes a bad player hes amazing just not gritty enough as a top line and top 6 …too soft …we can get more for trading him which will allow for pieces and cap space flexiblity

Out of all the channels that do maple leafs videos your videos are by far far the best. They are the most down to earth honest level headed look at what is actually going on with the team. When I'm lying in bed and I need a no brainer sort of video I go to Dangle for pure entertainment purposes. When I want a true analysis of what is really going on with my leafs I turn to you. I'm shocked that you're not working with the maple leafs directly, I truly mean that. You could honestly be of huge help to management and coaching staff. Thank you for the awesome content and please never change your channels format. Keep em coming buddy

Last year 2-4-1 after 7, this year 4-3, so calm down. They will get motoring imminently. Integrating 5 new guys into the line-up almost always takes a few games to mesh together. Sometimes they never get on the same page & the lines evolve differently. I believe after that crap showing in Vegas, that they could've won, or at least got to OT thanks to Samsonov, that they will apply themselves with attention to detail, dramatically reduce their turnovers & actually score some goals. Matthews & Marner are just too good to keep missing like they've have to start out. Maybe they go off tonight. That would be helpful. Personally unconcerned, they're too good.
Kerfoot is a 3rd line lw. It's brutal Dubas has not addressed the lw sitution apart from bunting and I won't get into our shat defence. But we have only been looking for a legit RHD for a decade.
Why not try Bunting-Matthews-Nylander. Robertson-Tavares-Marner. Malgin-Kerfoot-Jarnkrok. Engvall-Kampf-ZAR/NAK.
Just a note, after this season, regardless of what happens, Kerfoot, Bunting, Kampf, Engvall, Simmonds, Been, Mete, Aston-Reese, Aube-Kubel, Malgin, Gaudette & Samsonov are all free agents. The Leafs have options on Samsonov as he's an RFA, but the others are all UFAs to the best of my knowledge. Some may return, but in 23/24 this team will likely look very different & by July 1st, we'll know whether Matthews will re-up on an extension with TO. Very curious to see how things unfold.
Engvall needs to go. 1/2 decent season last year and that is all.

Here's the main problem with Muzzin- he WAS a 2b defenseman when they signed him, he is NOW a 3rd line d pair AT BEST. You CANNOT pay 5 million for a d to play on your third line. That's where your 1 million per season d pair should be(plain and simple the best d from the marlies should start on that line). As a result, there's 4 million that's shot. You then have a second line centre who is the Captain(don't get me wrong I love Tavares) being paid 11 million(should be making 8-9 million) so there's another 2 million shot. Your two front 1a and 1b forwards should be making 10 million MAX(in this market, they can MORE than make it up with endorsements). There's another two million. Now imagine if this team had been sensible with it's cap management, and had an extra 8 million to spend? Sorry gang, but Dubas and Pridham have backed themselves into a corner. Matthews and Marner are worth every penny, but you're trying to build a CHAMPION, not fall over yourselves thinking how great each individual is. PS Love the channel, keep it up!
