In my honest opinion, the Canucks can turn this around. So many things that could possibly go wrong have gone wrong to start the season. 4 blown 3rd period leads (turn 2 of those into wins and we aren’t even talking about blowing up), many players not playing as well as they should be (Pearson, hoglander, OEL, garland, mikhaeyev, boeser, etc.), locker room drama, ownership issues, fan issues, and management having a quiet offseason. Like it’s comical how many possible things have gone wrong in such a small amount of time
The flames better be off to their best start ever they are stuck with these older players for the next 8 years. In 3 they are dead in the water.
People don’t seem to realize they are only 7 points out of a playoff spot. Yeah they are borderline TRASH, but we haven’t even reached game #10 yet. Go flames go 🔥

I think the Canucks were poised to have a mediocre season followed by a great season in 23/24, aaaaand then they parked the truck outside Miller's. Demko and Hughes are studs. Petterson still could be. I have yet to see an 8 year free agent contract work out for someone that isn't already a bonafide superstar.
