Must say …not really a fan of the producer chiming in…not too much to offer there…i understand that you want to get the everyday guy’s input, but I’d rather listen to the x-pros. Sorry..just sayin…i find i’m constantly fast forwarding his viewpoint…apologies…but that’s how i feel
I feel like tbf the Sharks are much better than their record shows so far, they’ve also had the most difficult schedule in the league by far to this point, with shortened training camp due to having to go to Europe. Not that they’re cup contenders or something, just, they’re not “terrible”. Looked pretttty alright last night, thoroughly dominated the play all night. Their forecheck looked very compelling
Tired of hearing about all the skill the team has. Actions speak loeder then words. Don't want to hear it anymore. ( regarding Keefe's comments) SJ has some really good players that click together. I think in todays NHL anyone can beat anyone at any given night. When there is a will there is a way.
I'd like to bet that Dubas is forcing malgin cause he knows how bad he butchered trading away Marchment for the guy… Embarassing. Marchment was home grown and built to play 3rd line. Now he's a top 6 getting paid big bucks. Dubas needs to go before he trades away the rest of the future for analytics.
The Arizona thing always bothers me because the league bailed them out when they approved the Thrashers to be shipped out. It would have made more sense for Arizona to go back and stay the same franchise that came from Winnipeg. The Thrashers were only given 11 seasons. Half the people at the games were fans of other teams because the league created fans from the Flames then they moved and had to find a new team. 11 years was not enough time to build a generation of fans.
I actually like Justin alot but Stellick is a great temp replacement!

It was that stupid arena in GLENDALE…..Let that be a lesson to NHL teams. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!….The NHL plays a lot of games. It NEEDS to be CONVENIENT!…..If you can't get a downtown or central entertainment district location?……DON'T BOTHER!….It's not rocket science. Make the games accessible.So that you can see a game, go for some beers get home easily, and hit on some hot girls….THAT is the formula! It will NEVER change1
You gotta break up Marner n matthews n I would give up marner over matthews but Iunno why ppl are so head over heal when it comes to marner when he can’t score n he is the main reason the leaf are a soft team . N that will run off on matthews need a guy like Patrice from Boston . Like leafs star don’t know how to perform under pressure n that’s when your star is supposed to be his best
New team new coach new head office is what is needed. Anything less than this will result in a failed attempt at even making the playoffs let alone winning a round

Probably the best episode I’ve watched.Great panel with Gord and Doug coming in. Felt more professional and put together, tons of insight and experience. Even just Gord, would be great to see him on here more often.
If Doug is looking for work, he should definitely take the Kyper podcast as a casual reentry, and you could really tell Kyper respects him as a friend and insider versus his relationship with Bourney

The leafs had their chance the last 3 years in a row. The suffer from a lack of effort you can’t show up for the last 10 minutes and expect to win. It’s the same thing year after year.

Theres no cap space and sitting any of the top 4 is not an option….The guys know that and thats fine. I think you have to ride those 4 guys to the end unless you can trade one for a blue chip d-man. But otherwise those four guys will just play every minute of very game and take the heat for all the losses until the end of the year when everything gets re-assesed. Obviously at least one of the top 4 forwards will be out and the D needs an entire rework. Let mathews play hockey and tell every other guy on the team that they need to play defence first.
