    I remember clearly years ago THE BIG DAWG on 620 WDAE here in Tampa use to always say the LIGHTING would eventually win many cups. Since he passed of cancer before they made this incredible run, every milestone I like to take a moment and remember him and his words. Steve Duemig RIP and I know you're smiling down on this incredible run the Bolts are having. ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

    Truly feel like after facing a world-class goaltender like Igor the lightning are really going to be confident going against Colorado… Plus they have faced offensive juggernaut type team in the panthers… Go Bolts bring the 3rd straight cup home!!!

    I love how Dave Mishkin casually mentioned it would make sense that it was Trouba who hit Corey Perry…. That was a penalty but more of a clean hit on Perry aka he didn’t go directly at Perry’s head… but I thought that attempted elbow to the head at Palat the previous game was egregious and cowardly….Trouba also showed his cowardice as he clearly held up on Pat Maroon knowing that maroon would’ve clocked him if he cross checked him after the whistle….

    I know it wasn’t a “highlight” but that penalty on Stammer was a total dive job! If not for that it’s another shutout for Vasy. Bolts DOMINATED the game.

    I think Colorado is the best team we will have played in any of these championship runs. I'm hoping Bolts in 6 though!!!!!!!

    Second goal was clearly goalie interference by Stamkos. Watch the slo- mo from the side and you'll see that Stamkos hits Shesterkin's catching glove BEFORE the puck goes in and it took all but 3 seconds for a review. NHL politics at its worst. The NHL should be ashamed that they let Tampa win on that kind of goal. I guess a possible 3 peat is more important than fair play. Tampa out played us for sure but should've won on a legit goal and not a political one. I'm sure they'll pull the same bs on Colorado.

    Trouba took one look at the Big Rig after he got his helmet knocked off and knew at that moment that he messed up. Maroon would have knocked his block off.
