I'm so happy Duff is not the GM! He makes Tim Murray, who set the team back ten years, look like a genius.
Buffalo in my opion are too soft up front, last in hitting, and they need to drastically improve on faceoffs. Try and sign UFA centre Nazim Kadri to improve on faceoffs. Trade for Arizona's Lawson Crouse or Boston's Jake Debrusk or Minnesota Jordan Greenway to add some much need toughness , size and grit on the wing .
If Arizona is willing to trade Crouse as per the rumour then maybe try and expand the deal to include D man Jacob Chychrun.
Another option could be Greenway and Matt Dumba from Minnesota since they need to move some salary .
In my opinion I have no problem in moving a couple of 1st round picks this year's draft .
Add a veteran goalie via free agency.
I like the idea of trading for Justin Holl from the leafs and Debrincat from Chicago but he would cost a lot .
KA could makes sooo many great trades the sabres really need.. we all know they need a goalie, gritness and vets/leader .. can't wait to see if he's gonna pull the trigger
That Trade for Fiala from Marty is actually a good one. I wouldn't pay Fiala 8 tho. 7-7.5 for 6 would be perfect and with this growing group at 25 would and should only elevate them. Casey Mittlestat #16 overall pick and a prospect. If I could make a pitch for Josh Manson in UFA I would be doing so. He's 30. Give him 3-4 years @ 6 per he does everything. Sign Lawson Crouse to a 3-4 yeal he is a good Power forward who checks and fights and could pot you 20 goals. This team still lacks toughness up front and some on the backend. You need Power forwards like him

Not trading Cozens for anyone. I do want DeBrincat but if the trade starts with Cozens its a no. I'd give up 9, 16, Mittelstadt, Ryan Johnson but thats where I'm at on DeBrincat.
I think the Sabres just need one more actually good defensive defenseman and of course we need goaltending I think the team made some serious strides this year

I saw a Flyer blog on youtube a few months ago .. they were speculating on the Flyers trading Travis Konecny for younger assets .. I like his game and think he would be a good fit for the sabres

I hope we keep all our 1st round picks and not trade even the 28th pick. That pick is from Sam Reinhart they must not be just giving it away for 1 year of Matt Dumba, I really didn't like Duffers lazy attitude in this one.

Great video. You wonder what is being discussed in the Sabres "War Room." Sabres are at the crossroads for the team they will have over the next few years. Three number one picks give the Sabres trade capital along with many young promising players. It seems like yesterday that they didnt have anybody besides Eichel or Dahlin that a team would be interested in. Times are changing. Kevyn Adams has a lot of ammo….the question is what is he going to do? Cant wait till draft week.

I am concerned that all these trades they propose, but not just them, could ruin the chemistry and sense of camaraderie that Adams and Granato have been building. I don’t think that they accept that this is a valid thing.

Duffers trade proposal for Theodore is ridiculous. I’m glad that he’s not GM. Marty makes more sense about us having too many LHD. GMKA burned Vegas in the Eichel trade, and Duffer wants to ruin it by shipping our picks and prospects right back to them.
I would absolutely love shea theodore. He can play the right side don’t care about handedness. TB won back to back cups with 3 GREAT LHDs and Samuelsson can also play the right side if needed
Erik Cernak would also be a great pickup. He’s been really good against Colorado’s top line. Physical, good defensively and has been in a good team. Dahlin would get over that hit if they were teammates
