What a move by Jack Eichel! Ironically I just read an article shortly before the game on SinBin written by a columnist named Jason Pothier in which he criticized Jack Eichel for not producing and not scoring enough goals…. The article didn't sit well with the fans there either who disagreed with the writer, so this might be just the moment Eichel needed! He skated around with the puck beautifully keeping the puck right on the blue line before scoring the goal…. As soon as I saw him get the puck I was like "Come on Jack, take the puck and score the game-winning goal to prove the naysayers wrong"…. Oh boy did he deliver!
Hellebuyck was phenomenal tonight, but Jack Eichel was just greater!
This team is awesome and as good as the misfits from year 1, if not even better!
Now Vegas deserved this game, but any true hockey fan no matter who you cheer for has to agree. That the stick between the legs and the trip it caused on Barron should have been a penalty. And there should have been no first Vegas goal. Just saying.

Hellebuyck absolutely killed it, and amazing goaltending from both teams! The rest of the jets really let Hellebuyck down after all that hard work he put in to keep that game so close. Alas another foe slain, Go knights go! 🤟🏻

What I mean is Hellebuyck is hell of a goalie, it's just his team let him down.
