On the (very funny FWIW) Halloween social media post, Mo referred to Veleno and Söderblum as « The Downtown Boys. » It seems like they have both decided to live in downtown Detroit! It is super cool to see the players choosing the city and publicly supporting other solid Detroit organizations like DCFC.
I’ve always thought it a little funny that every time someone mentions that a person needed stitches to repair an injury that you HAVE to mention the number of stitches used and the greater the number of stitches used the more impressive it is.
Just one of those mildly silly cultural touchstones we have, like always giving a baby’s weight and length as if we’re tracking this information or something. Medical information is seen as sacrosanctly private but the very first bits of numerical medical data we get about a person we declare publically. It’s funny.
