  1. On behalf of all habs fans ( or at best the smart ones ) I feel for you guys ( jet fans) Dubois has handcuffed the jets, something needs to be done to protect the nhl teams that are not desirable locations to play ( Montreal being on that list) Rfa’s need to shut their mouths and play in the city that drafts them , maybe a year before they are UFa’s the player can privately let their team know they will not sign when they ufa’s that way the team can get top market value for the player when they trade them

  2. Congrats on the milestone show and continuing saga re: PLD. Looking forward to seeing the SUITS.🙄😁

  3. The Jets wont get as much for PLD as they payed.I know Montreal fans say he would be a lockerroom cancer but he still would have good value.Considering Montreal could get him at a reduced price
Say a 6.5 to 7 rather than 8 to 9 for 3 years opt out after 2 for the player.
This is my proposal for Winnipeg.First a PLD and Nate Schmidt or Kevin Dillon to Montreal for Johnathan Droiun and Josh Anderson. Then a Winnipeg move to Toronto Blake Wheeler and Demello to Toronto for Tavares and Muzzin and a pick.Dillon could be substituted instead of Demello

  4. Habs have no need for Dubois short term. They'd rather have a poor season and keep loading prospects. In two years would be a good timing.

  5. Actually, if the Habs management is smart, and I believe they are, at least so far…. they won't give anything substantial to the Jets for PLD at the moment.
As it was mentioned numerous times, the fan base is focused on next year top 5 and even going for a chance at the top 3.
Any improvement to the team is pulling the team away from the lottery odds… so even if we all want Dubois with the "right" jersey, his presence would probably take us out of the chance to draft a generational player in the top 3 and a future star in the top 5. Same situation with Carey Price. If he plays, it's not going to help as well.

So I don't see Montreal give anything good right now, as the price tag will be lower next summer and having PLD in their lineup isn't going to help their immediate goal.
But for the Jets, they better think twice about what they will ask in return for PLD. Funny enough, giving him to Montreal for barely nothing and trading away Wheeler as well for picks and top prospects…. would probably give them a better chance at the next draft than Montreal and accelerate an unexpected rebuild.

  6. I think this has to be viewed, at least in part, as the most damning indictment yet of Wheeler and Sheifele's locker room influence. I think he learned they're gonna stay this year and said "well I'm leaving then, no matter what"

When the F*CK are we gonna get rid of those two?

  7. Habs dont have a pressing need for Dubois. The Jets should trade him now to another team to get max value. His value will be reduced significantly next year.

  8. Not sure if smart not takn pld to arbitration…will habs offer sheet or jus wait 2 yrs to fa..thats free agency not fk all.. Lol

  9. Hustler , 3 times, asked Wiebe what the benefit was to the Jets for not going to arbitration, and each time he avoided the question, lol.

I'll take a shot at it. Arbitration will get Pld a 6.5m salary. A trade to Montreal will get him an 8 or 9m salary. Chevy and Brisson made an agreement whereby Brisson would pressure Montreal to make a fair deal if Chevy avoided arbitration.

I'm just thinking that it must have something to do with the current state of negotiations.

    Fixed it for you Kenny.

  10. Dear Kevin Cheveldayoff: "Sometimes, you just have to…ahem…cut your losses and move on. It may cost you money, assets, property, time, friends, family…a job. Maybe even a broken heart. You may have to buy your way out of the situation. Take two steps back, pack everything in Glad green garbage bags. Take them out to the trash. Get out from that oppressive dark cloud, instead of dwelling on the negative and holding on to it. Then…take one step out into the sunlight. It may only be one small step…but at least you're now moving forward in a positive direction. Don't look back…just keep moving!. Thank you. ~Darryn

  11. who knows? but i do not think GM Hughes will make that move Bedard if in the reach of mtl will pass in front of Dubois . why? salary cap too high dubois and his agnte will ask too much??
