Marner is the big problem, has been for awhile, but Dubas refuses to move him out. Talented player, but is a bit of a growing cancer. Does he have the backing of Matthews is the big question. If so, then Leafs are stuck with him. Maybe they separate the two for time being, see what happens. Firing Keefe would solve nothing, would actually empower Marner. They have to stay calm, try to ride out this latest storm, no panic moves, trades etc.
I told the leafs if they wanted to get serious about winning, they wouild have to trade one of the 'big 3' for a real goalie. Well, they scoffed at that, and now, I think any loaf fan would trade any 2 of their top 3 for a top goalie in a heartbeat. Well, now it's too late. should have listened.

A different Matt Murray goaltender? Interesting—injuries are already hurting some teams in a major way. If things don't get better for the Leafs pretty quick, there will be drastic change—long-standing Stanley Cup drought is putting a lot of pressures on the organization.

You mentioned one thing that Nylander wont go into the corners.That should pose a problem for the coach.I think that is a big problem another is a puck moving right shot defenceman or power play guy.I think Nylander,Holl and Kerfoot,different destinations probably 2.Suggestion open to others opinions as long as I'm not attacked
How many goals did Sandin cause by his lack of checking every time he was on the ICE, even Morgan Reilly is body checking and Matthews has a couple, without defencemen body checking you are NEVER going to win the CUP!!!

Keefe can't even ducipline someone properly, yet, isn't the problem.
Goaltending. Average, but not the problem.

Mitch belongs in a less-pressured market. For his kind of talent and a better chance at success, ya, look at a deal.
Get creative and get good value and keep Matthews.

They have had multiple coaches, players & goaltenders, the common thread is Dubas & Shanahan. They broke this team when they spent 40 million on 4 FORWARDS. You build a team from the goalie out. They need someone new in mgmt. Dubas & Shanahan CAN'T FIX THIS!
I ain't got a problem with Mitch caring….and I cannot for the life of me see how his attitude's is the problem. I have more of a problem with the players who don't care as much as Mitch obviously does. He even fronted up for an interview after the Duck debacle….. It seems like we either think he's a CarJacked Hero or a Spoilt boy.
What is clear is Hockey writers are loving this story….. and are making hay while the sun shines. Let's hope the organisation isn't panicking like the outside Hockey world 'appears' to be.
If they trade Mitch Marner I'm not watching anymore at leafs games through and through fan love the leafs. That kid is the best player on the hockey team.
