   I can’t even believe this article exists, benching someone for one shift should not be some huge risk. This goes beyond sheltering a player from criticism from the media, to simply having a team culture where a specific player can be exempt from accountability. You have to wonder if the decision to keep Matthews and Marner inexorably tied together comes from above Keefe’s pay grade to keep Mitch happy.

   This is such a weenie baby article. If a one-shift benching is enough for that player to hold a personal grudge and to lose the room, then the blue-and-white disease infecting this group is terminal.

   Jonas has been dick riding Marner all week.

   If you listen to their podcast, it really shows that Jonas doesn’t believe that Keefe should be hard on the players at all. Especially guys like Marner. Apparently he should be treated differently.
