Few comments. Reffing was horrible. Way too many passengers tonight (first line and Gallagher excluded). Love St Louis, but not a fan of the 6 forwards with goalie pulled and more than 3 minutes left. On to the next!
1) fuck Chris Lee
2) our PP is starting to look better
3) Slaf looks *good*
4) I really fucking hope Slaf is okay
5) Minny is rood
6) if I was a Minny fan I would be unhapp with how often Fleury ended up under a manpile no matter whose fault it was
That’s on slaf, he wasnt paying attention, he takes way too much contact
rossi is coward for not fighting but slaf has gotta be better, that was his fault
otherwise a very forgettable game
Atleast we can’t blame this one on Hoffman.
There’s some less-than-savory things I’d *like* to say about Chris Lee, but in the interest of keeping my account I’ll hold my tongue.
Can Fleury retire already and leave us alone…
Tragic game after the first, although i’m glad to see the powerplay looking at least functional and giving us some life late.
The moment Chris Lee was announced as a ref for this game, I knew we were gonna lose. Fuck that guy and his grudge against us.
Armia, Suzuki, Gallagher, Savard, Caufield, Dach all looked good.
Pitlick is looking rough out there. A blackhole on offence; I hope he turns it around, as I like the player. At this point Pezzeta’s energy might offer more.
Why do we always struggle against Minnesota, it’s infuriating.
But it was honestly just one of those games where we played well, but we just couldn’t come up with anything.
Slaf looked amazing on that first PP
Suzuki goal
Evans standing up for Slaf
And fuck Chris Lee
Can someone clip that little scrum at the end when Xhekaj went off?
I didn’t watch the full game but from what I seen, what the hell was up with the reffing? Games like this should be able to be reviewed and they should be fined. It’s so clear Chris Lee is biased against the Habs and that alone shouldn’t be allowed. It’s just frustrating that a zebra could dictate a game just because.
Now I can go back to not thinking about the Wild for the rest of the season, just like the rest of the league
Why the fuck was Rossi on the ice to end the game. You’re litterally fishing for a fight with that move
It was an unnecessary hit but it wasn’t against the rules.
I really hope Slaf is ok and he’s not rushed back if he is hurt, that would be terrible for his development, especially because he was already injured for a couple games.
Minny are the new Devils. They might win, but it’s boring, shitty hockey. Thank god we don’t play them anymore. Otherwise, I thought we played well, just didn’t go our way. Slaf better be alright! Onwards…
Go Habs Go!!!
Dach is what the first PP unit needed
It had better of actually been a wrist injury for Slaf and not a concussion the first time around.
Why the hell isn’t he getting evaluated either. I know he didn’t play again but still.
It’s on Slaf for not attending his ground better but there’s missing game awareness by Rossi. Game’s 4-1 with a minute to go, why do you go push someone three feet away from the board? The bench door was open, it could’ve been a nasty ending.
The power play is functional; the biggest positive from tonight.
Otherwise, we lost, but this was the sort of competent loss that we’ll hopefully see most of the time this season when we don’t win. The team didn’t get nuked from orbit or whatever, the Wild are just the better team right now.
Is Slaf hurt??? All that I care about rn!
This was one of those game when we weren’t that bad, but simply nothing worked. Let just forget it and move on.
If Slaf is injured I’m gonna be really sad. Going to see the game in Winnipeg and I’m most excited to watch Slaf play.
At this point, I was just happy Flower didn’t get a shut out and it was because of Zukes ❤️
Rossi, what a coward.
Fuck Chris Lee. Saw him as a ref for this game and remembered his poor performance with Montreal against Vegas in the 2021 playoffs. Wost officiating I’ve ever seen. Missed Minnesota too many men, meanwhile calls garbage goalie interference penalty.
I really like the first line with Dach.
Kaprisov looks so good. That stat about the Wild’s first line being composed of two undrafted players and a 5th round is insane.
Habs deserved at least a little better tonight imo
Its really a shame we don’t play Minnesota again this year. I think Xhekaj added a name or two to his list tonight.
Slaf and Rossi, both kinda pussies on that one.
Slaf is so aloof sometimes. Wake up bud.
He’s going to have a lot of concussions if he doesn’t learn quick. This isn’t the first time.
FUCK CHRIS LEE!
1. Fuck Chris Lee
2. Pitlick not looking good
3. Wideman sucks, he’s not a « powerplay qb »
4. Caulfield, Suzuki, armia, Harris, Evans, looked good
5. Fuck Chris Lee
Alright which hab screwed Chris Lee’s wife ?
I was a bit perplexed at how heavily Slaf seemed to fall into the boards after that hit. Seemed clean as far I could tell. But I guess when in doubt better to respond in some way afterwards rather than not.
Well I’m sad they lost. However, Suzuki’s goal means that I get a week of free Tim Hortons coffee because I was at 6 on the streak and picked him tonight.
Suzuki finally unleashes his one timer!
And I also love how X embodies everyone here lmao. He is a fan favorite for sure.
I really hope Slafkovsky is okay
I love Jake Allen’s press conferences. He has such a balanced view of the Habs’ situation.
Enjoy the wins and accept the losses.
Looking at the standings, there’s at least 6 or 7 teams below us that will 100% pass us. If we lose more often than not, but every now and again we get a game like the St. Louis game or Arizona game where the young guys really shine then I won’t complain.
