Yesss! 36 saves from Daccord and a GWG from Matty! What else could you want?

    That’s Kraken hockey baby! 🦑🦑

  4. DuckMads

Every game they look better than the last! Great way to start a road trip!!

  5. SpaceOtterCharlie

Wow. Joey D won that game.

  6. BenSoloGhost

Gourde the Pumpkin King arrives the day after Halloween. Finally off from his part time job

  7. RandyGodson

#WE ARE WINNING THE FUCKING CUP

  8. Tachikoma0

Well… that was a gutsy comeback.

  9. Crazy_King_Bumi

I’m definitely going to have to go back and watch that 3rd period!

  10. TheVich

Holy shit, what the hell happened. My computer lost connection to the internet when we were down 4-2. By the time I got reconnected, we’re up 5-4?!? Fantastic, and it looks like I gotta snip a few wires.

  11. ArbackSmithens

They really felt like a team tonight. Was on the edge of my seat as soon as they made it 5-4.

  12. NugMeister

    LET’S FUCKING GO.

This team is light years ahead of where they were last year.

SO excited for the rest of the year.

    Playoffs?

  13. aaaaaaaaaDOWNFALL

DACCORD. DACCORD. SAY IT WITH ME, DACCORD!

  14. pastpastdue

Love the win for Daccord. What an effort. Was hoping he would get a shot on net for an ENG, haha.

Hadn’t seen the Kraken come back and win like that in their franchise history; impressive against such a good team.

  15. Vivid_Walk_1405

Matty beniers for Calder. It feels like that is realistically what this season is going to be about but I’m here for it

  16. getthejpeg

Nice complete win boys!!! Way to stick with it and battle. GO KRAKEN

  17. dosh206

Feels like we stole one given the 40 shots on goal but we looked good against a very good Calgary team.

  18. danielzenk

Yes! Why I love watching this team. They don’t stop playing, giving heart the entire time. Shows what we’re capable of if we keep playing like that. Let’s go fellas!!!

  19. Olbaidon

Joey finishes .900 and the Kraken are officially over .500!

What a game, if we can’t send Daccord back before the waiver rule expires we’re gonna be in a tough situation though.

  20. Antilock049

I think this is the first time we’ve been above .500 with ties. That’s a fun historic fact.

  21. lukryst

Joey OK was more than OK tonight. Great team win to fight back.

  22. TheDankestYo

THE CHAOS IN THE THIRD PERIOD..

  23. _MMCXII

Man if we can figure out this « defense » (I’m told that’s what it’s called) thing we’re a fuckin squad.

  24. pastpastdue

ITS SHORTHANDED GOURDE SEASON, MOTHER FUCKERS

  25. BobbyJonesSC

Keep Daccord up even when Grub is healthy… just saying. BIG W BABY!!!

  26. warox13

    That’s a massive win. Let’s fucking go

  27. iceamn1685

That went from really sad to really happy

    Bananas 3rd period

  28. Aaronwilson71291

That might of been the greatest (so far) in Kraken history

  29. Pete_Iredale

While Daccord certainly makes some mistakes, he also makes some saves that I don’t think Gru or Jones regularly make. Nice to see *our* goalie with a couple huge saves down the stretch for once!

  30. SiccSemperTyrannis

Wow, what a team effort against a great team!

    – Daccord won’t be a star of the game but absolutely should be
    – Geekie is on another level this season and it should be clear to Francis at this point that Wright MUST be sent down the the OHL and quickly
    – PP inexplicably continues to produce
    – 2nd period was rough, but the Kraken didn’t let the game get out of reach which good teams have to do
    – Going down by 2 so quickly would have resulted in a mentally weak team folding. The Kraken didn’t to the great credit of the players.
    – Hakstol with a crucial timeout may have saved this game. Give credit where credit’s due.
    – Matty B szn continues. He was inches away from netting the ENG.
    – Gourde with one of his best games this season after struggling to score. Massive shorty and then a key defensive play in the final minutes
    – I don’t know how they keep winning faceoffs late in games, but it’s a big reason the Kraken were able to seal this game away

We have to move up in the power rankings after beating two top ten teams. The Hockey Guy better but us on that second line this week.
