I’ve watched almost every Flames game for the last 20+ years. That was one of the most pathetic efforts (especially in the last few minutes) that I’ve ever seen.
Man 4 goals should be enough, it should be enough. Weak shit and I expect to see Hubs and the boys out early shovelling driveways

Easily the worst game of the season. Most of the goals were off terrible breakdowns
Got super sloppy, not at all on Vladar. But a big time save would have been massive. Waiting for the games where our goaltender steals a win

Why do we make young inexperienced goalies look like Brodeur?
It’s not that we lost, it’s HOW we lost. Just a brutal showing.
Absolutely horrendous defensive collapse in the late 3rd. What the fuck what that? I have never seen the Sutter-era Flames fuck up that badly on defense. This loss and the Oilers loss are straight up the Flames beating themselves. They outplay the majority of the game, then lose off of atrocious turnovers, misplays, and general gaffs. Gotta sort this sort of shit out in a hurry.
Let’s see Weegar on the right side finally.

Huberdeau has looked fucking awful
I hope this game serves as a lesson for those who want immediate results from line juggling this early into the season. More often than not it doesn’t work that way. So many armchair coaches who think they know better than a 2-time Stanley Cup winner.
On that note, I think that Sutter is too smart to just cave in to what the media (and by extension the fanbase) were wanting to see, I feel like this was a move to show everyone what happens when you shoehorn guys in roles that weren’t made for them.
Just win on Thursday and this week can be salvaged.
That game was like forgetting to take out your black bin on garbage day. Agonizing
