Tried to start a few sell the team chants, did y’all hear em?

  2. JettWoo

I can’t anymore, this team isn’t good for my mental. With that being said I’ll see u guys next game 😔

  3. ImAnAfricanCanuck

You gotta say… when all of our best players are on the ice, and they continously get scored on shorthanded… it makes you think, they must be so disapointing in the locker room right now. Whats even holding the room together at this point? I do think Horvat’s been leading by example and might be truly his earning C right now.

I think it’s time to trade Miller for litterally anything.

  4. THEcommandomando

Tell me the beer prices are to save money to buy out OEL.

  5. TheFriendlyBagel

Can I be toxic for a second? I need to vent. I fucking hate watching Connor Garland, he’s everything wrong with the Canucks epitomized. He makes such blind plays like he’s going for a highlight reel no looker, but he has no fucking plan with anything he does. He’s so undersized he gets bullied off every fucking puck battle, he’s kinda fast but does nothing with it, rather than actually drive the net and miss like Mikheyev, he just fucking spins. Offence dies on his stick. God for being the « good » part of the OEL trade he sucks.

  6. bcbudtoker69

Can we start a chant in the arena that shows everyone that it’s not the team we are frustrated with, but ownership? « sell the team »??

  7. Specialist-Idea-5396

This team is wasting literally all its potential

  8. humblearugula8

Nothing will change until aqua gives the go ahead on a rebuild

Friedman confirmed management is NOT allowed to rebuild the team as of now

Experience Canucks hockey until aqua changes course. May never happen until ppl hit him in the wallet. Stay home. Don’t buy merch. Find another hobby until he gets the point.

  9. reyskywalker7698

That was beyond embarrassing. No shots for over 8 minutes when down by three goals in the third period. Theirs no effort or any sense of fight from this team. We fans if we want change need to start speaking with our wallets. Use that money to support your local bar or restaurant. Use that money on getting ingredients to cook a delicious meal at home. Maybe get yourself a six pack as well.

  10. isitAliens

Who do you think would be the first to request a trade?

  11. Any-Representative25

Tough to see Horvat go, but it is the obvious business decision. I hope whoever trades him enjoys the heck out of him, he’s been fun to watch develop over the years. This is a result of Benning running the team into the ground. It needs to be done.

Now give us your juicy D prospects 😈

  12. JTMilleriswortha1st

Trade everyone i’m over this core. Demko needs to learn how to make a save idk what happened

  13. eliar91

Horvat is a treasure. Trade everyone and rebuild around him. I don’t care that his age doesn’t fit our rebuild window. We need him.

  14. julesieee

Never been to a Reverse Retro night before but the night exuded big boomer energy. At least the senior citizens beside my seat seem to enjoyed themselves.

  15. scout_charlie

    How did Ethan Bear look?

I didn’t watch most of the game but i wasn’t surprised when i saw that we were down 4-0 in the 2nd period.

  16. GangreneMachine

Horvat wants the fuck off Mr. Aquilinis Wild Ride

  17. MichealFerkland

Canucks wore new jerseys but couldn’t get past New Jersey

  18. pepperrooo

This is the fruits of our labour? This is what we spent the last 10 years watching shitty hockey for?

  19. shinytimhorton

Was at the game, Bear looked v tenacious, this is the tiny ray of light I’m clinging to despite it slipping through my fingers much like my remaining hope

  20. TacoQueenYVR

Reverse Retro concept giving the same bad juju vibes as the Millionaires jersey

  21. DrexellGames

Bo should publicly ask for a trade to a playoff contender

  22. Bittroffm

    OEL our newest golden pylon.
    Gotta have one of those!

  23. LittleDogPockets

Not surprised. I knew that it wouldn’t last after beating the penguins

  24. MaxHardwood

    Arizona just won! Very exciting.

  25. pluralsight24

The lack of developing players in the AHL has really hampered this franchise. The last time we were cup contenders we had Kesler, Bieksa, Edler, Burrows, Hansen, Raymond, Schneider and Tanev all successfully develop and graduate from the farm team. In the past decade or so, only Demko and Rathbone (not even sure if he’s graduated yet) have done this.

  26. KonradOr

Why is it so hard for our D-Men to take the player with the puck on a 2 on 1… they keep 50/50ing it and it’s just fucking over demko.

  27. EvilBrew

    The Good:
My expectations were low for Bear, but he played well. His passing was accurate, not many mistakes. He had a solid game.

Schenn’s toughness, gotta love him pounding Wood on the ice when we needed a boost. Him getting kicked out was horse shit. We need this toughness especially when we’re losing. We need Burroughs back.

Hoglander showed good hustle on the 4th line.

Bo is carrying this team’s hope on his back.

    The Bad:
I love him, but Podz may have had his worse game as a Canuck. He couldn’t get anything going, do anything good. Too many giveaways.

Hughes really showed rust. Just really really poor at defensive coverage.

    The Ugly:
Tanner Pearson with some crucial mistakes costing too much. That offensive penalty in the first killed us. A BIG minus 3 on the night.

OEL so SO poor defensively. Mistakes everywhere on the ice. This might have been his worse game as a Canuck as well.

  28. LegendaryJyrkiLumme

That was probably the worst game we’ve seen them play thus far. In other losses we could say « yeah, you had the lead or you played better » but this one was something else.

  29. coleramsay

Millers behind the back pass to Hughes on the pp is literally horrible. Its almost never on the tape which kills the Hughes slapper and the dish to Petey. Not only that but its about a 50% turnover chance. Just fuckin shoot it and hope for a rebound.

  30. * Can’t cover in the d-zone
    * tossing bouncing, grenade passes at each other that nobody can take
    * Shooting for top corner on every shot and missing the net

The parallels to beer league hockey are amazing

  31. Specialist-Idea-5396

Imma go back to watching the Raptors now

  32. TheKyleShow

Well it was fun while it lasted **checks notes** 2 games? Fuck

  33. 00Makerin00

My depression is at an all time high :/.

  34. NCPokey

It’s incredible that this team is worse than Minnesota when they are dealing with 12 million in dead cap.

I loved OEL when he was a Coyote but he is an absolute shadow of his former self.

At what point do we worry that whatever injury and surgery Demko had might have long term consequences?

This team reminds me of a unit where I used to work where there were a bunch of decent people who just didn’t work well together. I bet a bunch of these players will move to other teams and turn their game around.

  35. julesieee

Instead of Reverse Retro Jerseys, I want Fast Forward Future Jerseys and in that timeline it will be Bedard and future players we have acquired wearing new never before seen Canucks logos and colours along with new management and owners and only Petey and Hughes are the remaining players left from the “old” days. 🤡 (Miller, Demko, and OEL finished their contracts here and were acquired by the Flames)
