Arizona DJ is the best in the league, what a power move playing Sweetness. They should get First Star.
Move this team to Moose Jaw or wherever the fuck they want it to go. I’m tired of this shit. I’m tired of planning my nights around this.
God Maurice was such a fucking dud of a hire. This team has the offensive potency of a geriatric.
Our last three losses have been to the Blackhawks, Flyers and Coyotes. Teams that we have to beat. Especially with the upcoming schedule we have.
Not looking good for us right now.
We’re not winning shit if we don’t fix the special teams, it’s as easy as that.
Special teams need to be fixed. That’s about it. We crushed them 5 on 5. 6 on 5 was cursed. Reinhart has lost his confidence completely. Yotes played a decent game and Vejmelka was insane.
10 games in I can’t keep saying puck luck. We’ve dominated a few games and lost but 5-4-1 is just average. Special teams has probably cost us at least 4 games already including this one, and maybe more. This is getting rough.
It’s absolutely amazing to see the amount of talent on the ice and the inability to do shit at all. Like why the fuck did Maurice break up the Lundell/Reino line? Why did we fire Brunette because of the power play and now it look’s SIGNIFICANTLY worse than the playoffs?
Every other team that’s played against us just skates the fucking puck in and blasts it in the net as soon as they get on the power play, or they at least get several high percentage shots and we literally can’t even get a guy in the middle of the ice for a rebound.
I know some of y’all are reading this and rolling your eyes (that’s ok) and I may be slightly overreacting given that it’s only like 10 games in but man at this point I really don’t think Ekblad coming back is gonna do shit. We’re just flat out bad right now and I have no answers. Amazing how Zito fumbled the fucking bag and gave up a first round pick for Ben Chiarot
We made the Coyotes look like a contender. IDK if its the team missing Ekblad and Duclair, rust being shaken off, or a shit system, but something needs to change
If we can decline penalties we’d be 82-0
Maurice sucks. This team sucks. I hate this. I miss chanting we want 10.
We hit 4 or 5 posts. We may not be great this year but generating this many chances/shots without cashing in more isn’t sustainable. It’s frustrating for sure but at least we don’t look hopeless
