The Sabres are taking advantage of other teams constantly playing their backup goalies. Make them pay for teams giving their starter the night off! Lots of fat juicy rebounds and were are converting some. Disappointing we let a 3-0 lead go but they fought back and got the 2 points. Against WC opponents, the 2 points is all that matters.
With all the momentum the Sabres have early on, they should capitalize on that and make a few moves to bolster thier team and make it even stronger, let's take advantage, they are playing with lots of confidence right now.
What’s sad is that the Sabres aren’t supposed to be winning at all because they are in plain and simple literally in full rebuild mode for the next two years minimum. They have the least talented roster not only in the NHL, but the last 10 years of their roster. The reason why they are winning right now without Eichel, Reinhart and others is because of coach Don Gronato and the rest of the team that’s playing with heart. If this team somehow makes the playoffs than Gronato wins the Jack Adams trophy coach of the year award and that’s not even a debate and many nhl fans would agree with that.
Anderson on his back not giving up on the play reminded me of Hasek! He’s not playing lights out like hasek used to but I’ll take how good he is playing!
Okposo is holding them back, locked in for 8 years, only played good for two seasons, first year, and this year. Thought he was going to be captain right away, but jack got it, so there's that.
Ducks should fire their GM right now so they can start looking for a better GM that can help this franchise get back to the playoffs. Then fire the coach towards the end of the season.
Everyone joked when Buffalo brought in Craig Anderson after Ullmark bolted for Boston. But his calm and veteran demeanor is exactly what this young Buffalo team needed.
Let’s go Buffalo that’s how all sabers fans should feel and let them do there thing it’s exciting to watch and it’s effort through the whole game ! We love it
