Not really shocking. Scott Walker changed the PK setup when Baumer was fired. Jason King went right back to Baumer’s setup and it’s failed miserably

The PK deployment is ridiculous, I don’t know if its Cull or Yeo who runs it, but Christ almighty…
Despite Miller and Horvat being two of the worst penalty killers on the team, they’ve both been consistently tagged as the go-to guys whenever we’re a man down.
Miller was the most used PKer last season. It’s not a surprise that when the Canucks started to lean heavily on Miller and Horvat for the PK, the PK starting crashing.
Meanwhile, Petersson, who’s the best PKer on this team, and Mikheyev, who was one of the best PKers in the NHL last season, are both sitting on the 2nd PK unit.
Lazar, who was one of the Bruin’s most consistent PKers last season, plays half the minutes Horvat and Miller play.
It makes no fucking sense at all. Hell, even Travis Green knew Horvat wasn’t a good PKer, and was the main reaosn why Bo rarely ever played on the PK under him.
The team saw that the PK was shit last season, went out to purposely get a bunch of good PKers, and then proceeds to fucking sit on them while continuing to deploy the same players who made the PK shit!
