Best game of the season by far. Pure dominance even with the Refs trying to keep Philly in it. Loved the heart the team showed at the end too, Gio dive tackling to protect Matthews was a thing of beauty. Hopefully this can be a turning point and they can build off this.

Easily the most convincing win of the season.

  3. Man, that save by Samsonov to start the 3rd was fucking clutch, eh?

  4. nicknamed_nugget

AND HIS NAME IS JOHN TAVARES

  5. yoitsme666

Genuinely the best game of the season by a mile.

  6. Oh captain my captain

This was way more fun. They should do this every time!

Oh how nice it is to finally watch a full 60 mins of solid Leafs hockey, led by our captain who has had quite the resurgence so far this season. Also nice to see the Leafs respond to Konecny’s angry outburst.

PK came up huge in that atrociously-officiated 2nd period, but the refs finally were able to get the Flyers back into the game in the 3rd. 5 for 6 is still great though.

Sammy still undefeated at home with great numbers.

Big game against the Bruins on Saturday, let’s make it two solid games in a row.

John Tavares is a Toronto Maple Leaf.

Satisfying win. Mucking it up at the end was the cherry on top.

  10. McGrevin

Nice to see the team actually having fun out there

My favourite part was when Tavares skilled it up.

  12. labadee

Thanks for showing up, boys. We needed it.
JT was unbelievable and Matthews is getting his mojo back. Keep it rolling

JT with the performance of the year

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!

  15. demonicfeces

Thanks Philly. That was exactly what this team needed!

Gio’s football tackle was my highlight.

Can someone clip Gio jumping in during the end when they were shoving Matthews?

What a game! Tavares setting an example as captain with the hat-trick. Bunting and Gio not letting them get pushed around. Really strong effort back home coming off four straight losses.

Here’s hoping this helps light a spark for this team. Reminiscent of that Winnipeg game from a few weeks back.

First true complete game of the season

  20. Justin_Holl_The_Best

Four points from Tavares and yet POTG goes to Gio for that beaut tackle

Might have to go jersey-less for a while boys.

Wear Matthews every damn game I watch but that wasn’t working.

Wore Marner for the Anaheim game…. Uhh nope.

Didn’t wear one tonight because I was making dinner. Thought about putting it on for the second period, but thought I’d better not since they were already winning.

So in other words. YOU’RE WELCOME

  22. funghi2

WE BEAT THE FLYERS. PLAN THE PARADE.

  23. labadee

I actually think the scrum at the end will really help this group. Way to go Bunting and Gio, lots of heart. Need them to replicate this against the bruins

  24. crumbypigeon

    JT undressing Sanheim.

Sammy making a clutch save in the 3rd.

Gio taking people to suplex city.

I’m tapping out of no nut November early boys.

  25. Mrfantastic2

-Mathews looked like himself again and gave it back to konecny

-JT was amazing especially on the 4-2 goal

    – Sammy was great and made clutch saves despite the second goal and a few he didn’t handle the best

    – I continue to love Kampfs game

-Engvall was noticeable in a good way

  26. whodiditnaylor

    They needed this.

    Shit, I needed this.

See you all Saturday. Hopefully this is the TSN turning point of the season.
