God I love this team. Great fight tonight and never gave up and it is so fun to watch. Big win here tonight coming back from 3-1 in what would’ve been a death sentence a few years ago in the 3rd but instead we score 5 unanswered

  2. VeryFarDown

I feel like that Girgensons hustle play at the end is the definition of this team and Granato’s hockey. Works his ass off to beat the icing call, holds the puck up and it directly leads to a goal. Holy shit we would have never seen that during the Eichel era.

  3. UncleOrton

This team is so goddamn fun. I love the grit.

  4. MoneybagsMcghee

This is the best I’ve felt about the sabres in a longggg time. 7-3 and only getting better. Hype train isn’t stopping for anyone at this point

  5. They just refuse to give up. Love it

Cozens had a little under 7 minutes against the Crosby line and had 3 shots for and 2 against, a 0.22 xGF and a 0.07 xGA, and a 74.56 xGF%. he had about 6 minutes against the Malkin line and had 5 shots for and 0 against, 0.26 xGF and 0 xGA, and 1 actual goal for with zero against.

I think the Sabres also circle the wagons.

  8. OpabiniaGlasses

Best Sabres performance with a Botterill in the building ever

GIMME GIMME GIMME A MAN AFTER MIDNIGHT

  11. fantasyshop

Sabres have not scored fewer than 4 goals in any of their 7 wins this season. Unbelievable

  12. thatcarguy420

Penguins a bunch of sore losers losing 6 in a row. This team keeps impressing me more and more.

  13. Son_Of_The_Empire

I don’t want to exaggerate but the 22-23 Sabres might be the greatest team in professional hockey history

  14. deGrominator2019

Anyone else just, blown away at the growth and development of Thompson since the trade? I mean I remember people calling him a gigantic bust. Can’t be fucking happier for the guy, he is going to lead us along with Tuch to many a victories. Lets Go Buffalo!

  15. brown_and_water

Crosby, Guentzel and Rust combined for a -12 tonight.

Can we get some fucking fans in the seats to see this happen in person?

  16. Active-Sky-M31

    I’m digging Mittelstadt’s buzz cut.

  17. GuybrushThreepwood94

That was so much fucking fun, dude. This team plays hard and they play for each other. I love it.

    Zemgus Girgensons is my dad

Super pumped to watch them at PNC on Friday. Haven’t had a lot of success in Carolina, but I’d like to think things are changing!

  20. Kinger86

Is giving up 3 goals and scoring 6 goals a game sustainable? No. Is it fun? Yes

  21. Other than the first half of the second, the Sabres always seemed to be out hustling and generating tons of pressure and chances. They just magically became clutch in the 3rd period and stopped whiffing shots and passes. Great adjustments and energy. Helps to beat a tired Penguins team on a back to back.

  22. BARDLER

They might not be the most skilled team in the league, but the fight and hunger to win games makes them so much more fun to watch. It’s literally what we have been asking for like a decade.

  23. shotzoflead94

Love that Power is starting to show flashes of being elite offensively at the nhl level. The defense will come with time. Dahlin continues to be a monster on both ends.

  24. Whytfbuddy

Oh fuck you’re going to make me Believe

  25. pokemon674

ITS NOVEMBER AND WE ARE STILL GOOD!

  26. la_fontaine

That Girgensons play nearly made me cry. That man deserves a statue for all the dark years he’s endured with grace and dignity.

  27. Skyline_BNR34

I was curious, but we definitely need Boosh back.

    Defense TOI

    Dahlin 29:25

    Power 23:51

    Bryson 22:46

    Pilut 15:54

    Clague 11:58

    Fitzgerald 9:50

I’m all for rolling 4 D-men, did Clague and Fitzgerald not play in the third?

  28. incaseshesees

That was a beauty. It started as a stinker, but great finish.

Love to see the Pens go down. It feels sooooo good after the first winter classic, I absolutely love to see Sid lose, it feeds my soul.
