Kind of agree, sort of reminds me of Ward-like decision making. With DS there’s always a method to the madness

Lucic has more even strength points than Huberdeau

It’s definitely more about sending a message to guys and shaking things up to get guys going, it’s tough to find a rhythm starting with this long of a home stand. It’s pretty stupid we’re almost a month in and have only played 8 games and haven’t even left alberta.

Lucic shows up every single game and plays his ass off, more than can be said for a few of our top 6 we normally have

I like the season Looch is having so far, but I do agree with you, he’s not top-6. The only reason I can think is less to do with Looch being a 2nd-line guy and more with a) Sutter sending a message to other top 6 forwards, and b) Sutter trying to see how other forwards play together. It’s early, and our record isn’t horrible, so this is a good time to experiment with lines and see if there is some chemistry to be found. Lindholm actually looked like he was starting to come out of his funk last game.

For some reason I think these lines are temporary and only there to try and spark Lindy and Huby

Wasn’t even bad in that game, outside of an uncharacteristic turnover. I agree on paper it doesn’t work, but he’s been good this year and didn’t hold that line back at all

He’s gonna get a 5 hole tonight, mark my words.
