Caufield should not have shot that from so far when he was alone and could have approached more, unfortunate chance to give away in that position

Think Canadiens could learn to cycle the puck a little better in OT. I dont think Cole needs to take that shot which is sort of low % even for Cole. Slam on the brakes and establish a bit of a cycle like the Jets were doing to us.

Our top-line of 23 and under guys is actually a threat for opposing teams and it’s a treat to watch.
Adding a top 5 guy at the 2023 draft would be perfect to fill in that 2c spot, and we would always have the option to bring Dach back at center if needed.
Good game ngl, it was very fun, I am fine with losses like this, good job to the team
Imma be honest here, caufield should have kept possession in the O zone rather then shoot on the rush. That’s just how teams play 3on3 nowadays
Anyway 2pts night for him and Zuk + bonus goal by dach, I’m fine with it!

On the bright side Dach is on pace for his best season by far. He’s had a very good start
The goaltender interference call decided this game
Wish the boys could win that one for Monty. He played amazing tonight. Gonna have to work on that 3 on 3, though. All in all a very decent road trip for the boys.
The only thing that concerned me a tad was that our first line basically got almost all our opportunities this game
We shouldn’t have double shifted Caufield and Suzuki in overtime, also putting X on the PP was just silly, Harris or Guhle would’ve been better options.
