    The idea that they have to hire somebody with ties to Winnipeg is ludicrous to me. They need to stop making the safe play and hiring “a friend of the show” . Hopefully Chevy has the autonomy and insight to at least step outside the comfort zone. Schief’s comments reeked of entitlement and I believe they have to trade him. His above the law attitude has been a sideshow for some time now and sets a real poor example!!

    I've always felt, but especially in the last few seasons, that the central core of the team – especially the Wheeler/Sheifele dynamic – has been toxic… really since the 2018 Wheeler-Chiarot dust-up… there's something really high school about those two

    Lowry was always the Interm head coach he was never promised anything past the end of the season. So what the management said I feel was appropriate

    time for young superstars take on greater leadership roles

    get a veteran netminder to helper helleybuck

    trade Wheeler and Pionk to Dallas for Klingberg

    and trade Schieffle to Avalanche for S. Girard

    strengthen defense

    bring in Babcock or Tortorella

    change the culture of entitlement to competitiveness

    do whatever it takes to keep Lowry. solid power forward

    Pierre Luc Dubois. You need to keep this guy. Ehlers is another key piece. And finally Connor's the last piece. Keep the three of them together. Scheifele isn't going anywhere. He's the leader of this team. Especially when Wheeler retires. As long as we have Hellebuyck. We'll be just fine thank you. Let's go Jets!!

    Arniel likely has the inside track. To hear Carlyle's name even mentioned blows me away. No way they need a dinosaur. That guy Quinn from the Rangers might be worth thinking about. Did a decent job with a rebuilding team. Don't think Tocchet's style would fit with type of roster Jets have. Scheifele has to go asap, but they need to sign Dubois first, sooner the better. Wheeler should go as well, but no team going to touch that ridiculous contract.

    There's no transparency from the Jet's upper management. The fish always rots from the head down. If there are problems in the dressing room, that is not where it's starting.
