Ok. We all know they signed him with the media, families involved and players against this move. What changed? Please let me know. Im actually not against giving a person a second chance when they have done,in my opinion a really horrible thing. He was 14. We let murderers out at 18 or their early 20’s if they were juveniles when the crime was committed. Not saying he’s not a piece of shit. But Sweeny and the rest of the crew fucked up. And they knew yesterday. Is it media backlash that prompted this change of tune? Or did they find something else?

Wouldn’t any other business leader who made a decision displaying such shockingly poor judgement be made to answer for it? Maybe I’m being emotional because what the kid did makes me so mad, but it just seems like if Bruins leadership was willing to move forward with such a morally bankrupt decision they should me made to answer for it.

I wonder if any of the other teams will dare sign him now. I believe the rumour was that a few teams were considering it and Boston moved first. I sure hope this is the last we have to hear about this guy.
Props to all of the Boston fans who let their team know they didn’t want this guy on the team.

Hopefully this kid realizes how fucked up what he did was and can actually grow and change. He doesn’t seem to show interest in it but hopefully having it snuff out his dreams does something for him. And this is a good way to show kids and literally everyone that there ARE indeed consequences for how you act and treat others.

With this being very widespread news all over the place, he’ll probably struggle to play in most leagues. He may get a spot in a lower level league like the ECHL or Europe.

He should be signed to the lowest point-scoring team this season as a punishment both for him and the Canucks

Commish says he can’t play . That’ll usually wrap a career before it started. As it should
Way to go SeaBass… Who didn’t see this coming
Good. Fuck him.
Fuck em
Great, never understood the signing to begin with. Hoe Don and Cam get fired from this.

Adding a recent development that the article missed; The Carnegie Initiative said that they did not work with Mitchell Miller like his agent claimed.
