Hey Earth Tone Dudes?
Honestly, when Bertuzzi comes back I want him on the 2nd line. I think kuby/larkin/raymond on that first line can produce and bertuzzi will open up that 2nd line tremendously with copp and perron (or vrana when he can come back)
St Patrick’s day in November
I can say that Peron is the reason why the PP is working. I dont know how many times he controls the puck along the boards, and gets the PP settled. He keeps making the other team thinking he is going to pass it, and then doesnt. He is the guy that really makes the PP settle down, which in turn lets the PP start working the pucks around. Plus, Kubalik passing across the goal to Raymond is money.
Ned wasn't overcommitting. Earlier games, on cross ice passes, he just pushes off and almost overshoots the net on the other side when they pass the puck. He was much more controlled in that one. Crafty vet play by Ovi when he was exhausted and could barely breathe on the PP faceoff then says he needs a new stick, gave himself a little mini timeout. Impressed with so much of the play by the Red Wings. Winged Wheel Podcast Bump in full effect.
Quite possibly the greatest games I've ever seen in person. Drove 900 miles to see both home games. Was able to meet Darren McCarty, and my personal hero Chris Osgood. They were larger than life. Not to mention, seeing two great games up close. I've been on cloud 9 since Thursday! LGRW 🐙 🏒 🤘
NHL DoPs should have to still make a video for each suspension/fine like Shanny used to do, explaining in detail what happened on the play, breaking it down, and then explaining in detail the fine/suspension given as related to each action in the play/incident in question. It brings an added value of transparency to the process.
When NYR scored their first goal on Ned I was like goddamnit this games bout to get blown wide open…. props to him for holding it down even after that 2nd goal. The team really wanted to get him a W last night.
Perrons no look pass in OT to Kubalik right on the tape was clutch! Plus Raymond from Kubalik on the power play game after game is so fire!!! Wake up Evan! 😂…..
Guys can we now say definitively coaching makes a difference – did they sign 6 free agents this summer – yeah but they also have been hit with lots of injuries – Lalondes driving this ship makes a big difference . lots of injuries – thank god not defense or center yet – that will make a huge difference but they are doing great only 2 more weeks until the bellwhether US thanksgiving
Any of you boys feel like Michael Vick deserved another chance? What he did was far worse, and after he served his bs sentence, he was on the cover of Madden.
At what point do we stop being women and let the past go?
Matt Luff > F. Zadina … just being objective
That's cute, Evan and Brad dressed alike for the pod…awww 🥺
How dare you three not acknowledge the impact Michael Rasmussen's calming influence had coming back and starting the win streak
i want elmer to get a shot at the top 6.. a couple of times a game, he is requesting the puck while in motion but doesnt get it. if that is trust or the people he plays with, dont know. right now its, dump and chase and only that.
Wish you guys talked about Chiarot absolutely blowing up the guy who beat Seider on the edge to the net
I am hoping we call up Berggren to replace Zadina…we can't keep calling up AHL "bodies" , need to start getting the skill back up and with Zadina's injury being long term this will be the long term intro Berggren's overripe for
