The New York rangers are going to be the sleeper team in the playoffs this year if they can hit stride just before the playoffs they can sneak by everyone and win the Stanley cup.

Last three games, 21, 17 then 23 SoG against. Only one PP each game whereas the Pens had three both times. Tonight they had exactly TWO giveaways the entire game, and one resulted when Miller's stick shattered. This doesn't look like the same team that was winning despite being outshot and outchanced 5 on 5 most of the year. It's just a matter of bottling this kind of 60 minute focus and execution and repeating it. If they can do that, they might overtake the Hurricanes and be the EC favorite.
