Gotta start blaming coaching after the 5 game losing streak… The eye test is super smelly, the Philly game highlighted this fact. The 2nd period defensive breakdown was peewee levels of bad.
But you don’t keep a manager that keeps messing order and scheduling, why would you keep a coach with a losing record?

Honestly #22 should be sent to Belleville, even just to help him find his game and maybe regain some confidence outside of the public eye. Worse case scenario he doesn’t improve, best case he does and maybe gets another crack at the NHL
I'm starting to think that Chabot is not a #1 defenseman. I really hope Sandy takes him over on the depth chart because I think Chabby would be a great 2nd pairing guy who plays 20-22 minutes. He's just soooo bad on the PP, always has been.
Ross/Brandon, do you both realize that you need twice as many win than loses to get a wildcard spot? Just checking. Waiting till 20 games to think about pressing the panic button will be to late, wait and see. And Dorion still won't make a coaching change, he seemed very resolved keeping DJ no matter how the team does. Seems like him and DJ must be in tighter than what we think. Listened to DJ's pre-game, he is a great talker, now he is saying how great Vancouver is and if we lose tonight, his post game will surely be how we underperformed and how good Vancouver was. Its the same excuses after every loss. Very predictable.

One topic I would like both of you to bring up is our three star centerman, Pinto, Norris and Stuzle.. Pinto will be signing soon and can we afford three 8-10 millions centerman? One may need to be traded in for a top D. If so, I would pick Stuzke to be traded before Pinto or Norris though Norris's shoulder injuries is a factor. The other option is Stuzle on the right wing when Giroux calls it quits.
