4:34 we were up 14 pts (after AD scores) with less than 3 mins left in the 3rd. Coach takes out Russ and AD, puts in Bron to run the offense, and Pelicans went on a 15-0 run within 2 mins. 😑
I thought Russ could have played in crunch time and in the OT. More like an offense to defense substitution coz LBJ was settling to much with jumpers instead of attacking the paint or a Pick n Roll with AD. Something that Russ did great in this game. Thank God PatBev, Reaves and Ryan are there to save the day. Overall, gotta love Russ embracing his role and playing solid on both ends.
