i am sorry for the scary injury that happened to Evander Kane tonight i feel sorry and sad for you guys as you have lost a player for a while 😢 . And at the same time i want to congradulate you for winning back in tampa Bay again ever since 2009 congradulations on the 3 – 2 win tonight
Slew-foot by Tampa d-man Myers caused Kane to fall down. Both refs should be ashamed they ignored the obvious penalty.
Maroon saw Kane lying on the ice and instead of avoiding contact with the prone player, he skated dangerously close to Kane to get the puck. Maroon even made knee contact on Kane's head. He should have seen/considered that his left leg/skate would come dangerously close to Kane's head, body, arm and hands. Yes, plays happen very fast, but Maroon should have def anticipated a potential collision with the prone player lying on the ice and didn't lift his skate high enough to avoid injuring Kane. Highly careless to cause the injury! Very very unfortunate and bad timing as well. Yes, Maroon did notice the injured Kane and waved his arm and yelled. Hope Kane gets well soon without any lasting effects.
