I have no doubt that Janmark and/or Kostin will contribute according to their ability but it obviously won't be on the top line. My question is – who moves up?

This is devastating news for the Oilers. No one replaces Kane – not his feistyness, his toughness, his scoring or his swagger.
They definitely aren't making the playoffs so it doesn't really matter
Why is everyone saying the oilers are for sure gonna miss the playoffs this year? Kane’s a big loss but Edmonton is still a good team without him. Look at the teams they’ve played this year and a 8-6 record looks a lot more impressive. Edmonton is still likely a playoff team especially when you look at the pacific right now
Pull a Tampa spend the money on a upgrade on the D and Kane returns for the playoffs where there is no cap

Hoping for a full speedy recovery for Kane. This is a big opportunity for the players mentioned . Curious why the Bruins giving up on the d man. The team needs some toughness but the dressing room appears tight. No additions needed if this is the case . Thanks for the update Patrick. Keep the vids rolling.
I think w should go after max domi if we need more scoring if the two brought up don’t work…domi is feisty and plays with an edge and he can score! Plus he’s really tough!
Brutal news. But this team made the playoffs last year without him for most of the year. Mind you they had a more cohesive D last year compared to so far this year. (Yes I know it will be much better by February after their now traditional Dec to mid Jan of sucking harsh). Holloway is better served getting lots of ice time in the minors for now imo, so ya, bring some others up, see what they can bring.
I think we'll be fine. I mean it totally sucks, but I think the Oil will be fine. Just means someone else will have to step up. And someone will.
I say use that LTIR and get another top 6… then pull a Tampa Bay/Chicago, bring Evander back for the playoffs and go nuclear. Cup to Edmonton.
